Come along to get rid of the number one fear people have. Every week we have new members and people starting from scratch so you will not be alone. Everything is based around what you're comfortable with and you don't have to stand up, talk or do anything if you don't feel like it. But you will have the opportunity to speak at least 4/5 times a night. You can come along to see what we're doing and take part if you like. We will be running this for beginners every week and anyone is welcome to join us to learn and get better together. Hope to see you there :D We charge €5 to help towards the room rental.

Our free-of-charge meet-up upstairs in Ryan's Bar. This is a casual meet up for people who want to play boardgames. Lots of people bring plenty of games and rules will always be explained so don't worry if you're new to the hobby and you don't have anything to bring along or think you won't know how to play. Late comers always welcome, you just might have to wait a little for a game to open up. **The meet ups are free of charge but we do ask that people support the bar by buying food and/or drink. The bar is very accommodating to us and it's important that we support them in return. Bringing in outside food or drink is completely unacceptable.** Check out the comments below where people will say what games they are bringing and express your interest in joining if interested.

Come and join me as we venture back to Belfast city to visit Clifton House and its cemetery tour. Clifton House is an 18th century Grade A listed building located in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Originally it was built as a poorhouse by the Belfast Charitable Institution. Today it houses a heritage center alongside a residential home for ex-servicemen and women with sheltered accommodation apartments. We will meet in the Belfast train waiting area of Connolly Station from 8.30am. We will be getting the 08:50am train. It arrives in Belfast at 11am. We will walk to Donegall Square (20 minutes) where we will catch the 12b bus from outside the AIB bank which has a sterling ATM outside it. Please have £1.80 in sterling or you can use your bank card for payment on the bus. No payment by bank card is allowed for the Clifton House & Cemetery tour, its cash only, in sterling. The cost for both tours is £14 per person, payable on the day to Clifton House. Please ensure you have exact amount ready. The midday guided house tour will take approx one hour and the guided cemetery tour will take 1 hour & 15 minutes. There are a max of 15 places only. **Please wear appropriate clothing and foot wear for both tours. There is uneven ground in the cemetery. This tour is not suitable for members with mobility issues. There are steep steps up to Cliften House front entrance.** Lunch is booked in the Criterion Bar from 2.15pm, which is a five minute walk from the cemetery. Please advise in advance in Comments what you are having for lunch as I have to notify the chef before the tour date as this cuts out delays on arrival. Lunch must be paid by bank card only. There is an updated menu which I will post in photos. After lunch, we will be going back by bus into the city center (10 minute journey). When walking back to the train station from the city center, the beautiful City Assembly building with the fine blue tin steeple can be seen. As it is a working building there are no public tours but there is a free exhibition on the history of the building which is open to the public. It takes about twenty minutes to view all the exhibits. If not interested, you can catch the train back at 4pm, 5pm or 6pm. The train station is only a 5 min walk from the assembly building. **Do not RSVP if you have not read the Meetup Details first and checked your diaries. Do not stay on the Going List if you have other plans made.** All members are responsible for their own Health & Safety at Meetups.

Join us to **practise and improve your target language with native speakers on Monday in River Bar**(1 Burgh Quay, Dublin 2) from **6.30pm to 8.30pm**. **Our system:** **• You sit opposite a native speaker of the language you're learning** **• You speak 5mins English, 5mins other language, then change table** This ensures everyone gets an equal opportunity to practise the language they're learning. These are our regular Monday evening electronics nights. Everyone from absolute beginner to experienced is welcome. These evenings are not classes or tutorials, rather a very friendly informal evening. We have a wide range of people who come. Some are absolute beginners who do not even work or study electronics, but are interested to know more. Others have something that they are already working on. We almost always have some first time visitors and we always give them a tour of the space. Come in with your Pi, Arduino, or whatever you have. Bring your laptop. Maybe you want to make something, solder, breadboard or use our electronic gear. Maybe you have some vague ideas and just want to get started. Or maybe you’re just curious……if so, it’s fine to come along and just see what others are doing. If you would like to get even more involved and have the full use of our space, we would be delighted to have you as a full member. Membership brings many benefits.
