Welcome! Our Prague event is a melting pot of cultures where Czech beer meets global chatter. Whether you're fluent or just learning "hello," you’re invited. It’s casual, cool, and genuinely Prague.

We mostly focus on novels and longer works, but short stories are welcome, as well. You can submit anything you want feedback on in any genre. Current word limit for submissions is 4,000 words. Send your submissions by 13:30 the Thursday before the meeting (or we have a grace period during which you can submit a lower limit of 2,500 words if you submit by midnight Thursday evening). Also, if you don't have time to read through everyone's submissions, still join the meeting! We know that busy schedules don't always make finding reading time easy. After you're finished, put the file in the "Feedback" folder under the folder for the meeting date and then under the person the feedback is for (e.g. "For Sonya"). * The submissions folder will be replaced within a week after the meeting has taken place. Feedback will be deleted within 2 months after the meeting, so if you need it longer than that, make sure to copy it to your own disk.

Let's play padel at the excellent facilities at Sky Sport Prosek. We'll meet at 13.40 and aim to play for 60 minutes. The court costs 720 crowns for 60 minutes, split between us. It will be cheaper if you have a Multisport card. Racquets can be rented for 50 or 100 crowns. This event is aimed for beginners or people with limited padel experience. Hi All, Come and join us for social running and a coffee! We meet at the main gate of Vystaviste - tram stop Vystaviste Holesovice. We will run in Stromovka. Usually we run around 50mins and it is up to everyone how many kilometres. We welcome all levels of runner. We can all run together or, if there is more of us, we can split into groups and at the end of the run we all meet close to the starting point to go for a coffee to a nice local coffee place (where they also sell cakes and great chocolate). If the weather is great, we can also just sit in one of the outside coffee placces in Stromovka and enjoy the sun. This month we bring you a seminar from the host of Prague's famous Cafe Philo, Albert Hoffman, entitled “The God of the Philosophers”. In this seminar, we'll be **exploring the concept of god not through the lens of holy scriptures or divine revelation, but through that of reason.** When philosophers speak of “god,” they are often speaking of something very different from that presented by most religious traditions. In his Metaphysics, **Aristotle** carries out a metaphysical inquiry not with questions concerning the sacred or worship, but with motion, causation, and the structure of reality itself. He arrives at a **conception of god not as a mythic figure ready to reward or punish us, but something more similar to a law of nature.** **Thomas Aquinas** inherits this framework centuries later and deepens it. Drawing on Aristotle's metaphysics, he asks whether contingent beings can account for their own existence, whether causes can regress infinitely, and what it would mean for something to exist necessarily rather than dependently. He presents to us an image of god not merely as first in a sequence, but as the very **ground of being itself**. You don't need any prior knowledge or expertise on these subjects to participate in this discussion, so come and join us as we move through the logic underpinning these conceptions of god and discover whether these arguments still carry any force today! \*\*\* We’ll have tea and light snacks, but please feel free to bring any drink or snack you’d like to share! This event will be hosted in an apartment with a well-trained dog who will be happy to meet you. Let's play badminton at Sports Centre Olšanka. We'll meet at 11.40 and play for 60 minutes. If you have a Multisport card please bring it along, as it will make the court free for you and also reduce the cost for others. If you don't have a Multisport card the game will cost you a maximum of 150 crowns, probably much less. I will cover the cost of the court so please bring cash to pay me. There is a small organisation fee of 20 crowns for all players to participate in this event. Racquets can be rented for 50 crowns.

**Galaksia Praha 23** is letting **players to join** each of **their trainings for free** **as a trial** session to join the **5x5** Galaksia **basketball** team. If you are interested to join the team, you can **sign up here**. Maximum 2 players will be joining the training as trials. Please sign up **to only one training** as only one trial is allowed per player. If you sign up to more than one sessions, only the earliest one will be kept. Once you signed in and are therefore confirmed, **please be at** the address (ZŠ Bítovská indoor basketball court) **at 19h15** to be ready for the training starting at 19h30. After receiving Coaches feedback, we will then reach out back to you following the trial. Afternoon everyone! I’m organizing a hiking trip tomorrow to the beautiful **Koněprusy Caves**. We’ll explore the area around the caves and the scenic landscapes of the **Bohemian Karst**, one of the most interesting natural regions in the country. The hike will be about **10 -12 km**, but we can easily adjust the distance depending on the group.
