"I'm using a wheelchair. Can I attend the meetup?" * Yes! The venue has a wheelchair-accessible toilet and a wheelchair lift in the back of the building. It would be great if you could contact us beforehand, so we can make sure that the lift will be operational on the specific day. "Can I donate a game to the meetup?" * It depends. We have limited storage space and can only accept donations of popular games that will be played often. Please contact us for more details. **📞 How to contact us? ✉** * In case of an **emergency** or a time-sensitive question (e.g. you got lost on your way to the meetup), call: 0179 9309 418 * For all other matters, write in the #rudi-friedrichshain channel on our Discord server (you'll find a join link in this event description) or leave a comment here on meetup.com * For sensitive matters, write a DM to Angelika Cathor on Discord or here on meetup.com

THE BEAR Berlin presents IF ONLY I HAD KNOWN
### **IF ONLY I HAD KNOWN – Live Storytelling Night (Berlin)** **True Stories of Hindsight, Hard Truths & Unexpected Lessons** *** We all have that moment. The one where we look back and think: **“If only I had known.”** Known how hard it would be. Known how beautiful it would become. Known what we were really walking into. *** ### đŸŽ€ What this event is An evening of **true, personal storytelling—told live on stage.** No scripts. No acting. No fiction. You’ll leave feeling: * more connected to others * reminded of your own experiences * maybe even inspired to tell your own story *** ### đŸ» How the evening works We combine: * **Curated storytellers** (prepared in advance) * **Open Stage** (spontaneous, drawn from a hat) 👉 Want to tell a story? Put your name in the hat during the evening. First time? Even better. We’re known for being a welcoming space for new storytellers. *** ### đŸŽ€ Want to prepare a story? Workshop: Your Inner Calling - MĂ€nnergruppe Berlin "Men with Courage"
Workshop: Your Inner Calling - MĂ€nnergruppe Berlin "Men with Courage"
Was du dabei entdeckst, lĂ€sst sich schwer in Worte fassen.
Let’s Play Azul & CATAN - Play and socialize
Let’s Play Azul & CATAN - Play and socialize
Join our **CATAN** Meetup to play, socialize, and enjoy this classic board game. Everyone is welcome, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player. Expect fun, friendly games, plenty of laughter, and the chance to make new friends. This is a relaxed, casual meetup: **no hardcore competition**, just friendly rivalry. 👉 **Please RSVP only if you plan to attend.** **👉 Most people on the waiting list would be moved to the “Going” list.** **How to Play (Quick Guide):** *** Setup: **Build the island with hex tiles, place number tokens, roads, settlements, and give each player starting resources.** *Turn order: **On your turn, roll two dice to produce resources, then trade and build.*** Resource production: **Players gain resources (wood, brick, sheep, wheat, ore) from tiles next to their settlements/cities when the tile’s number is rolled.** *Robber: **If a 7 is rolled, players with too many cards discard half; move the robber to block a tile and steal a card. *NOTE: Friendly robber rule: We play with the friendly robber rule, which means that the robber cannot be placed on a player with less than 3 points.**** Trading: **Trade resources with other players or with the bank (usually 4:1, better with ports).** *Building: **Spend resources to build roads, settlements, cities, or buy development cards.*** Victory points: **Earn points from settlements, cities, development cards, Longest Road, and Largest Army.** *Winning: **The first player to reach 10 victory points on their turn wins. *2-Hours-Max: If no one reaches 10 points by the end of the second hour, the player with the most points wins. This keeps our game capped at **two hours**. ⏰ **Our Game Set-Up & Attendance Policy:** 1. We will have two CATAN sets available for up to six players each, assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. 2. Since each game takes a considerable amount of time, arriving after a game has already started may make it difficult to place you at a table. 3. In such cases, you may need to place your first two settlements on the remaining available parts of the map—if space allows. 4. Please make sure to update your RSVP in advance. Failure to do so may cause unnecessary delays for everyone at the start. 5. Not showing up without notice will result in being blacklisted for at least one future meetup.

Blood on the Clocktower at Manifesto! (beginner/intermediate)
Blood on the Clocktower at Manifesto! (beginner/intermediate)
Hi folks, this is the meetup group for the weekly Sunday Blood on the Clocktower games in Manifesto at Potsdamer Platz. We run beginner-friendly and intermediate-level games throughout the afternoon and evening. **Friendly newcomers of all skill levels are welcome, no experience required!** Our group aims to provide a fun and welcoming space to experience this thrilling game of social deception. **We focus on promoting a positive and fun group atmosphere, where players don’t take themselves or the game too seriously, whether they’re heroically winning or spectacularly losing.** Our players follow the code of conduct for the Berlin Board Gamers group and are expected to treat each other with respect and consideration – “killing with grace, and dying with dignity”. We are usually able to offer two simultaneous games on Sundays. If you are marked as "attending" in Meetup and are in your seat at 15:00, your place is guaranteed for as long as you want to stay. All other seats are first come, first served. We always run at least one beginner-friendly game of the basic version of Clocktower ("Trouble Brewing") throughout the afternoon and evening. We also usually have enough players for a second intermediate-level game. If you are already very familiar with Clocktower, consider also joining our Tuesday meetup for advanced players, when we play with complex custom scripts and characters. Blood on the Clocktower is a deep, mechanical game of murder and mystery, lies and logic, deduction and deception
think Werewolf on steroids. Each player receives a unique secret role and plays either for the good team – the uninformed majority, gathering info and working with others to solve the puzzle – or the evil team, the informed minority, scheming to eliminate good players and protect their demon from execution. In our beginner games no prior experience is expected and we will gladly explain the game rules to any newcomers. We play in English so players should be able to understand and express themselves in English: an exception is possible for one pair of players willing to play together (as a “Revolutionary” pair) where one player can interpret into and out of English. Please let us know in advance if this is the case. We are very grateful to the wonderful folks at Manifesto for hosting our meetup! **Please support the venue during your visit by buying drinks and/or food.**
