You should also be somewhat physically coordinated and have patience to learn a new motor skill!* I’m **not** a certified instructor however, I have taught countless people the basics of canoeing. LOGISTICS We will meet on Saturday 6th of June at **8:50** in front of the main ticket office at the Prague Main Railway Station. We’ll be aiming to be back in Prague by **18:30**. However, we will be as fast as the slowest members of our group and an unexpected delay is possible. This is a **full-day event.** WHAT TO TAKE WITH YOU • Shoes to wear in water (sandals, or you can buy special shoes for walking in water) • Wear clothes which dry fast (NOT jeans) • Sunscreen • Towel and maybe some spare clothes (in case your canoe capsizes) • Swimwear • Bottle of water and a small snack. • Put all your staff to a small compact bag – we will put all our belongings into water-proof barrels and they are not very large. **Galaksia Praha 23** is holding **free trials** to **join** their **basketball teams** for the 2026/2027 season. Galaksia's Basketball teams are se to be competing in Pražský basketbalový svaz leagues, Prague section of the Czech Basketball Federation. These trials are completely free, just join the Meetup event and show up on the field at that date/time. The trials are starting at 7:30pm, but be sure to be there earlier, at 7:15pm, so you can get ready, and we also can get your information prior to the trials to get started. The day is a chance for women to relax, enjoy exploring new skills in a welcoming environment, and make new connections! Session topics this year include: archery, kayak, stand up paddleboard, outdoor cooking, firemaking, knot tying, foraging, forest bathing, orienteering, nature photography, nature journaling, intro to disc golf, yoga, Tai Chi, birding, intro to backpacking, and more!
