Prague Travel Meetup
Prague Travel Meetup is a relaxed get-together for people who love traveling and exploring the world. Itâs a place to meet like-minded people who understand the urge to pack up, head abroad, and see where the road takes you without a return ticket.
The idea is simple: grab a drink, share travel stories, exchange tips, and talk about the places weâve been and the ones still on our list. Itâs also a great way to find people to explore Prague, the Czech Republic, or plan future adventures together.
We also have a fun travel quiz prepared for all travel enthusiasts. Letâs see who really knows their countries and who has the fastest fingers!
For those who want to go a bit deeper, there is also space for longer, more structured presentations. If you feel like sharing a bigger travel story, an adventure, or a unique experience, let us know and we can schedule time for it.
Everyone is welcome: travelers, locals, expats, digital nomads, travel professionals, and anyone curious about the world.
Got questions or ideas? Feel free to contact us. Weâre always open to suggestions!

Hello Discoverers!
Letâs do our 10 000 steps a day and socialize with friendly people in the beautiful **Natural Park DrahĂĄĹ â Troja** in the north of Prague.
It is a place for the recreation of tens of thousands of local residents as well as the home of protected flora and fauna and the site of the early Slavic fortress settlement âZĂĄmkaâ.
Sadly, this unique natural and cultural landscape just 6 km from Prague Castle is doomed by the city planners to disappear forever under a trans-european six-lane motorway.
You may wonder, is it really necessary? Will it improve the traffic congestion in Prague? Are there cheaper, more effective and less environmentally damaging alternatives?
On this walk, I will try to answer these questions while showing you around my favourite places.
DIFFICULTY: Easy to Medium
8km/5 miles mostly on unpaved trails.
Some 130 meters/400 ft of vertical gain.
MEETING POINT
We will meet at **10:00 at Kobylisy metro C station**. More exactly at the **bus number 152** stop which is in front of the âKatastralni Uradâ (Land Registry Office). Exit the metro station to âKatastralni uradâ.
**Google Map**: [https://maps.app.goo.gl/zZXqUVj1fJ7vPRK96](https://maps.app.goo.gl/zZXqUVj1fJ7vPRK96)
If you can not find us call me at +420 739 370 212.
We should complete the route by 14:00. The end point will be near âKrakovâ bus stop in Bohnice.
As always, Iâm going to book a restaurant for a well-deserved lunch after the walk.
BRING WITH YOU
* Comfortable walking shoes you donât mind getting dirty.
* An umbrella or rain coat if rain is expected
* Water & snack
This is a dog friendly event.

Teaching AI Agents to Read Maps
PangeAI is building agent-driven geospatial intelligence for anyone, turning natural language queries into instant spatial analysis and decisions, with no GIS knowledge required. Backed by autonomous agents we're focused on use cases geospatial context drive real decisions. We're headquartered in the Bay Area with our European HQ right next door in Prague.
Maps encode rich spatial context that today's AI agents largely fail to interpret. In this talk, I'll share how we're teaching agents to "read" maps in production at PangeAI starting with geospatial embeddings as a practical foundation for geo-similarity detection, then layering multi-agentic orchestration on top to generate strategic geospatial insights at scale. Along the way, I'll walk through the tooling and frameworks we've built to make all of this tractable for engineers, with real-world examples and open questions at the intersection of geospatial data and agentic AI.
