Networking Event for Professionals - Jan 22nd, 2026
Networking Event for Professionals - Jan 22nd, 2026
### The Hip Haus presents: [Professionals Networking Event](https://thehiphaus.com "https://thehiphaus.com")! Hosted at Isabelle's ### **\*\* What is The Hip Haus? \*\***The Hip Haus is an organization that exists to empower young and experienced professionals alike in the GTA and help the growth of local business. As professionals (especially post pandemic world) it is sometimes difficult to network with other like minded individuals, get good career advice or simply make connections with others you may be able to help or get help from. The Hip Haus is committed to providing social gatherings in an atmosphere where such networking can take place. **\*\* Who Should Attend? \*\***The Hip Haus events are ***19+***. The focus however is the growth and development of professionals in the GTA. It doesn’t matter if you are a business owner, have a job, are looking for a job, recently graduated university/college, still in university/college, looking for others to launch a new idea or just want to meet other professionals, our events are for you. Remember that Industry is Industry. One is not better than the other to The Hip Haus. We are expecting a diverse range of industry professionals. Our events in clude professionals from Tech & AI to Entrepreneurs, Musicians, Artists, Bankers, I.T Professionals, Accountants, Investors, Advertising/Marketing Professionals, Bloggers, Authors, Lawyers, Doctors, Dentists (This List Can Clearly Go On). ALL ARE WELCOME! **\*\* What to Expect at Our Events? \*\***Bring Business cards or have your LinkedIn QR code at the ready. Networking! That is the key to these events. Sure it can be a great place to hang out and have a beer with a few friends but it is important to come with an open mind to meet new people and make new connections. Build your network of friends/colleagues/advisors to help yourself as well as them. The Hip Haus wants the professionals of the GTA to come together to help foster personal and professional development. **\*\* Dress Code! \*\***This is a tricky one. There is NO strict dress code but remember this; you are meeting professionals in an informal manner and we all know first impressions last forever. Come dressed in a way that would allow you to be comfortable and professional according to your industry. Consider This…would a professional musician/artist necessarily dress the same as an investment banker at work? Be who you are or who you want to be. #YoungProfessionalsNetworking #ProfessionalsNetworking #EntrepreneurNetworking #FounderEvents #FounderNetworking #AINetworkingToronto #TechNetworkingEvents #YoungProfessionalsAI #EntrepreneursAI #AIandTechToronto #NetworkingEventsGTA #IssabellsToronto **\*\* Let's Get Social!\*\*** WEB: [www.thehiphaus.com](http://www.thehiphaus.com/ "http://www.thehiphaus.com/") [INSTAGRAM](m/thehiphaus/ "m/thehiphaus/") \| [FACEBOOK](https://www.facebook.com/thehiphaus "https://www.facebook.com/thehiphaus") \| [TWITTER](https://twitter.com/thehiphaus "https://twitter.com/thehiphaus")

Time to Bring Back our Lost Village
Time to Bring Back our Lost Village
Intimate gatherings, heart-centered workshops, soulful conversations and lots of questions and answers over coffee! I host the Antiquity United Circle regularly, designed to bring back the village in an attempt to fight loneliness. I stress on bringing our community back together again by sharing all our intimate stories with each other - because somewhere we forgot to be raw, open and vulnerable. Somewhere we started hiding our truths that we became too afraid to talk about with our own family maybe because we didn't want to upset them, or maybe because they wouldn't get it - or maybe we have tried and they really just never did - or worse still, maybe we never even learned how to talk to them. Or maybe we just don't have anyone. No family, no "real" friends. Or perhaps these are stories we are too scared to tell others because we are stuck behind the facade of our perfect smiles, stories we bury deep inside of us because we feel no one will understand, nor even care. Stories we keep pushing deep within us just because we have other, "more important" things to deal with- the real life stuff you know! Or other people to take care of rather than our own self. Until those stories become so monumental within every fibre in our bodies that sometimes we want to finish it all I know. Because I am that someone, who wanted to finish it all. But I wasn't meant to. I guess I had to go through decades of loneliness and fight through every battle, while keeping that perfectly happy smile during the day, and thinking of ways and means to end it all by night. And yet, I just kept going, somehow. Today, after going through every battle internally and alone in my life, I am here standing tall and strong. I’m ready to build a community because I know first hand that Second Chances is a real thing because I was finally able to break free from it all. Today I stand tall and strong, ready to share my story, and tell you that it is possible to break free. And I want to also shout out from rooftops that there is no bravado in fighting alone. We NEED each other, that Loneliness can not become the new age epidemic, I refuse to become another statistic, and I refuse to let someone else breaking within become one. Because we matter! You matter. And I matter! Exemplifying through my own story after extreme states of hopelessness and loneliness and extreme final thoughts, Second Chances ARE possible and beautifully so! I have therefore formed The Antiquity United Circle, as part of my not-for-profit venture Vision One World for BOTH Women and Men in our society who are otherwise considered a write-off after a certain age, be it in the work place, be it on the home front, be it a narrative we have convinced our own selves of…But thus far, no further! I know there are people out there at this very moment thinking about how to end it all. But I want to reach out to you that it doesn't have to be that way: that I am one of many examples in this world, here to tell you openly- no more hiding in shame, that I was there. But no matter where you are in life, it’s NOT the end- nothing ever is. So come and join me, form the Antiquity United Circle. Here I will talk to you openly, honestly about my life, no filters, and invite you to share your story- no judgement, only deep understanding of everyone's unique journeys. I am not intending to find solutions to your 'problems' - that is something you must find on your own, but I promise to share things that you perhaps might draw similarities from, and see that you're truly not alone. The Antiquity United Circle will be that family for you, that some of us were never blessed to have. And THAT will make a difference, I promise you So! Let's bring back our village we lost a long time ago and come and join me in my coffee and conversations I host regularly. There will be activities planned throughout the year, so come on, time to live, breathe, and find the one answer that finally set me free!! Just one request please: the gatherings are always free of charge, however, I do require an RSVP please- and also, if you do confirm your attendance, please: show up 😊 Thanks, and see you!
Mob Programming at Mofer Coffee
Mob Programming at Mofer Coffee
Let’s do some coding together at a cafe! No more working alone in the weekend. Here, we write code together. And I mean together together. Not occupying-the-same-space-but-separate together. Here’s how it works: Jennifer brings her mobile app project, tells everyone that it is like Pinterest for recipes and she’d like to work on the nav bar. Paul and Chloe think Jennifer's project is fascinating, and they join the group. They gather around Jennifer’s laptop and work on the nav bar for 2 hours. Jennifer is the one typing out the code while Paul and Chloe research, brainstorm, and offer suggestions. If you’re feeling stuck on your own project or need a motivation boost, bring it to mob programming! Want to learn by watching how others code and solve problems? Join someone else’s project at this event! Oh and we love your half-done projects that you are a bit embarrassed to share. Absolutely bring those to the event! **Discord**: We use Discord to share screen & code snippets during the event. Also feel free to share your projects here before the event! https://discord.gg/Da9fZFxPfs **Event policy**: * We have 0 tolerance for harassment. * We don’t allow the projects that are not meant to be shared in public such as school assignments, interview tasks, or trade secrets. * The goal is to write code. We discourage you from pitching business ideas here, doing code reviews, or spending the whole event on planning what to do. * Please buy a drink, and tip the barista well.
