Ackee Meets: Mobile Development (iOS & Android)
**Ackee meets: Vol. 4 je tady! **
* ️ **Kdy**: 25. 2. 2026 od 17:00
* **Kde**: Ackee, Block Karlín, 6. patro
* ** Za kolik:** Zdarma
**Program:**
* 17:00 Vstup
* 17:30 1️⃣ Rostislav Babáček: Boření zdí mezi iOS a Androidem
* 18:00 2️⃣ Vít Nademlejnský: Swift pro Android. Konec pro KMP?
* 18:30 3️⃣ Petr Polívka & Alexander Grigorov: Jak (ne)rozbít bankovní aplikaci při integraci KMP?
* 19:00 Networking
* 21:00 Konec akce, jde se domů!
*V průběhu akce můžeme pořizovat a dále zpracovávat foto a video záznamy. Pokud si nepřejete, abychom vás fotili nebo natáčeli, dejte nám prosím vědět před začátkem akce.*

FrontEnd Meetup in Ataccama - February
**The Prague FrontEnd Meetup is back in 2026!**
Join us on **the last** **Wednesday in February, 25th, at 5:00 PM** in the **Ataccama offices in Karlín** for another evening full of inspiration, great talks, and friendly networking. ✨
The lineup:
Tomas Belada will be talking about OpenCode - a great open source AI agent. But the real power shows up once you sprinkle a bit of Greek mythology on top. In this talk, I’ll demo a plugin that turns OpenCode into a superpower, an end-to-end coding workflow.
Pavel Kepka is experimenting with how the technology stack affects the LLMs - Pavel designed an experiment to evaluate the LLM's architecture decision based on the required technology stack. He'll share his findings and learnings with us at the upcoming Ataccama Meetup.
Michal Kopecky will be talking about his MCP-FE library. Michal's annotation says this: Most AI agents are "blind" to your application's internal logic, often relying on messy DOM scraping or raw HTML snapshots. In this talk, I will demonstrate how to bridge React and LLMs natively using the Model Context Protocol. We’ll explore how to give agents direct access to clean component state—such as data grids, active filters, and selections—and enable them to execute actions within the browser. Join me to see how we can transform a simple chatbot into a truly context-aware co-pilot.
As always, expect:
Snacks & drinks
Friendly community vibes
Space to learn, share, and connect

Engineering Management Lessons
We’re excited to share that after a break, **Outreach meetups are back!**
This time, we’re returning with a session focused on **engineering leadership**! This event is designed to inspire engineers and managers who want to unlock their full leadership potential without burning out along the way.
Whether you’re considering a move into management, are new in the role, or already leading teams at scale, this meetup will offer **practical insights, real stories, and actionable takeaways** from experienced engineering leaders.
***
## Talks Schedule
**17:30 – Doors open**
**18:00 – Talk 1**
**Christian Galatolo, Engineering Director @ Outreach**
**How Senior Engineering Managers Scale Without Burning Out**
Early in my management career, I unknowingly relied on principles to build a successful new business unit. Years later, with more experience and higher stakes, I learned which principles truly scale and which mistakes quietly turn managers into bottlenecks. This talk shares those lessons, grounded in real successes, real failures, and real pressure.
**18:40 – Talk 2**
**Michael Ruml, Director of Product Engineering @ Mews**
**From Surviving to Scaling: Lessons from the First Year of Engineering Management**
The transition from engineer to manager is one of the toughest shifts in tech. In this talk, Michael reflects on his first year as an Engineering Manager, unpacking the common traps, hard lessons, and mindset changes that make the difference between burnout and growth. A must-see for anyone navigating—or considering—the move into leadership.
**19:30 – Networking**
After the talks, stick around for networking, discussions, and getting to know fellow engineers and leaders. Outreach will provide **delicious snacks and drinks**, so you definitely won’t go hungry
We’re really looking forward to seeing you there!

Spec-Driven Development with GitHub Spec-Kit - Barret Blake
**Important time note:** Please plan on arriving between 5:30 and 6:00 as the elevators lock after 6 and you'll need to message us and we'll need to come get you.
The building address is 4450 Bridge Park
The entrance is 6620 Mooney St, Suite 400
You will need to scan your ID at the door to get a visitor badge.
**Abstract**
*Spec-Driven Development with GitHub Spec-Kit: From Intent to Implementation*
Spec-driven development flips the traditional workflow on its head: instead of code being the source of truth, the specification becomes the backbone of design, collaboration, and delivery. In this session, we’ll explore how GitHub Spec-Kit enables teams to treat specifications as first-class artifacts—living documents that drive architecture, implementation, and verification.
You’ll learn how Spec-Kit helps teams clearly express intent using structured, version-controlled specs that live alongside code. We’ll walk through a practical workflow that starts with defining system behavior and constraints, then progressively refines those specs into testable, automatable outcomes. Along the way, we’ll show how specs can reduce ambiguity, improve cross-functional collaboration, and make design decisions explicit before a single line of production code is written.
This talk will cover:
--What spec-driven development is (and what it isn’t)
--How GitHub Spec-Kit fits into modern developer workflows
--Using specs to align product, engineering, and AI-assisted development
--Real-world examples of turning specs into implementations with confidence
Whether you’re building greenfield systems, integrating AI into your stack, or trying to reduce costly rework, spec-driven development offers a scalable way to move faster without sacrificing clarity. Attendees will leave with concrete patterns and a clear mental model for adopting GitHub Spec-Kit in their own projects.
