According to my notes, this happens every March. The March full moon was known to Native Americans as the Full Worm Moon due to the fact that the thawing ground gives way to earthworms who say hello to the earliest robins. Other names include Full Crow Moon because of crows signaling the end of winter, Full Crust Moon because of crusty snow from thawing by day and freezing by night, the Lenten Moon between Mardi Gras and Easter, the Full Sap Moon because of tapping maple trees. **WHAT**: Everyone brings food and drink to share. **WHERE**: Pont des Arts. Join us for an untutored life drawing session with a female model. The session starts with brief warm-up poses of two minutes, followed by a series of 5-25 minute poses. Our models are professional fine art models affiliated with the Beaux-Arts de Paris, Académie de la Grande Chaumière and other Parisian life drawing ateliers. Please bring your preferred art materials. After the session, we come together for a relaxed drink and chat. It's a chance to share your drawings from the session and discuss drawing tips & techniques. You can also connect with fellow artists, exchange contacts, and promote your artistic projects. En mars, on fait des pieds et des mains! Ces fameuses zones d'interface avec le monde sont faites pour s'y adapter, et prennent donc d'innombrables formes, qui les rendent notoirement difficiles à dessiner et à imaginer. Sur cette première séance, nous réduirons la main à des rôles et des formes simples pour mieux l'appréhender. On se retrouve à 19h30, mais qui veut peut arriver au local à partir de 19h pour grignoter, discuter! Il y aura du thé et du café pour qui veut, il faut retirer ses chaussures car c'est une salle de danse (donc les bottes à lacets attendront une autre soirée).
