Mom's Basement is a fun and intimate place out on the Danforth, with a nice selection of craft beers. They host trivia on the last Tuesday of each month; lotsa fun. (Thanks for the recommendation, Tim. Any tips, please let us know.) They do not serve food, but have no problem with anyone bringing outside food; there are many good options nearby. Seating is first come, first served. Game starts around 7.

During the 1660s, the Humber River provided food and building material for the Seneca village of Teiaiagon. With the rise of York to the east in 1793, grist mills were built and provided the material for Toronto's growth well into the 19th century. Many historians consider the Humber River watershed the life blood of Toronto and southern Ontario. The Humber River is an historic river and tells the tale of not only Toronto, but also of Canada itself. This walking tour is for all fitness levels and skills with a few slight hills and dips and some stairs. Please dress for the weather.
