Across history, family forms have changed in response to economic conditions, cultural traditions, social norms, and political structures. At the same time, families deeply influence individuals’ emotional worlds, relationships, and life opportunities. This session explores how family structures have evolved over time, how they function in contemporary society, and how they may transform in the future. We will examine both structural changes and personal experiences, connecting historical developments with present realities and future possibilities.
