Meet fellows cat lovers, cats, and enjoy the summer weather 🌳🌳🌳 Walking your pet isn’t just for dogs, but cats too! It’s a source of enrichment for them and a great chance for both you and your cat to get some fresh air. This is an opportunity to socialize your cat with people and other cats in a neutral and safe environment. Feel free to come without your cat (or if you don’t have one) if you just want to socialize and your kitty would rather relax inside 😌❤️ If you do bring a cat, make sure your cat is wearing a collar and has on a harness/leash, is in a cat backpack, a cat carrier, or a cat stroller. Misty and I can’t wait to meet you! Let your cats enjoy the relaxing outdoors. This is a great opportunity for more beginner cat walkers! Moving this event to be an hour earlier than typical to try and beat some of the summer heat at the beginning of the day. 🅿️ Parking: There is plenty of free parking in Rockcreek Park.

Join our group of environmentally conscious folks the last Sunday in June at hidden gem of Fairfax: Ranger Road Park! (Recently officially renamed to Cardinal Park) We'll meet up on Cardinal Road and then take a walk about and see what makes the park special. Feel free to bring your dog as long as they are leashed.

Polo in the Park brings fast-paced arena polo action to Loudoun on Saturday nights in July and August through the 6-week season. Multiple picnic and tailgate options are available per night or for the season. This unique event is the place to go for your date night, family outing, girls’ night out, or corporate entertaining. Gates open at 6:00 p.m. All polo guests must enter via Tutt Lane (off Route 15). The Old Waterford Road entrance will be CLOSED. Inclement Weather Policy: Polo in the Park may be postponed due to inclement weather. The rain dates are Saturday, August 20th and 27th. A postponement decision will be posted on PolointhePark.org by 4:00 p.m. on the day of a scheduled match and will be announced on the Morven Park Facebook page. We often play even if there is light rain forecasted and/or if it rains early in the evening. If postponement is not posted on the website and Facebook, then polo is still on! All sales are final. Tips for a fun Polo experience: Each night of the season features two arena polo matches, with the first starting at 7:00 p.m. and the second starting at 8:30 p.m. (approximately). Polo ends at 10:00 p.m. Pets are NOT permitted at Polo in the Park. Service animals are welcome. Polo in the Park patrons MUST be 21 years of age to consume alcoholic beverages. Alcohol must be consumed within the marked areas. Cigars, vaping, smoking, and e-cigarettes are NOT permitted. Please, no drones or portable music devices/speakers. Join us for a fun visit to Wilderness Road State Park! Meet at the visitor center for a 2-ish hour relaxing bike ride along scenic Wilderness Road Trail. Rentals are available at the park for just $15 for 3 hours. For those not up for riding, there are reenactors demonstrating frontier life in the Martin Station area until 5 PM. After the bike ride, we'll explore the rest of the park and check out the Bison herd! There's a new baby! (Squeel!) Park closes at dusk.
