1st May is a holiday ! So why not having a full afternoon of gaming there on that day ? If you feel likewise, then join this event! Unlike most of our events, this is a more improvised one : some attendees bring their games, and we decide on the spot what we'll play. You may also post your ideas of what you want to bring/play in the comments, to gauge interest among the participants. Outpost opens at 11:30, so you may come from that time, but you can also come a bit later if you wish. Because it's Friday, we'll need to vacate the place towards 6 or 7 PM. **Please RSVP to this event if you wish to come**. Do not come without having done so. It makes it easier to plan that way. Although you can arrive at any time, **please post your estimated time of arrival in the comments**. It will make it easier to organise the tables that way. **Don't forget to unsubscribe from the event if you aren't able to come.** Someone else might take your place in that case. Don't block it if you don't come.

We do cycles of 4-6 weeks, with a progressive intensity, and the last session is lighter. Program: 15’ warm up **To be defined** Cool down to get back to the starting point… or more S=All out sprint RF = Run fast, at MAS (Maximum aerobic speed) CF = Run comfortably fast (1h threshold) J = Jog, recuperation Notes: It should take about one hour in total, as the cool down will end when we reach back to the meeting point. It's NOT required to have an activity tracker or smart watch to be able to follow the program, as I'll be giving signals with a whistle. For the "run" part, you can follow your own pace and we'll be regrouping in the "jog" part. Intervals training is not advised for total beginners. WHERE: Pestana Brussels Schuman WHAT WE PLAY. We play social interaction games : Dixit, Codenames, Werewolf, Secret Hitler, Exploding Kittens, Bang...They are fun to play with and easy to learn. We gather on Mondays for strategic games, but you are free to play strategic games on Thursdays and Saturdays as well. SCHEDULE. We will gather at 7 PM and have the introduction round at 7:15 PM. If you want to come later, don't hesitate. See the host, who will try to arrange it so you can find a table. You may have to wait for a game to finish to join the next game. WHAT TO BRING. As usual, a good vibe ! we will play the games that people bring. Don't hesitate to mention them in the comments. When the location is in the park, you can also bring snacks and drinks and something to put under your royal buttocks because the lawn is sometimes a bit wet. DRINK AT THE BAR. If you have a ball, please bring it... Unless it rains badly as we're about to play, the game is on. Players of any age, weight, sex and size are allowed. Come as you are, at any time after 4pm. IMPORTANT REMINDER -- As Shitty Players, we don't bite or growl when someone misses the ball. We don't do penalties or yellow cards because we're so gentle we don't need them. We vaguely know of the existence of other rules like off-side but we'd rather ignore them than argue about them. We may or may not keep track of the score: this is a game where everyone wins. Ready for some bouldering fun? Boulder-what? 🤔 It’s climbing (FR: escalade, le bloc) up to 4.5m high without ropes—and in my case, without much hope! 😂✨ It’s a super fun indoor activity, but be warned: it does require a certain level of physical fitness and/or skill. Most importantly, though, it requires awesome company—which we’ve got! 😎

 The Idea: 📍 Meeting Point: For those arriving at 14:00, we’ll meet at the cafeteria (next to the billiards table). Feel free to start earlier or later—just drop me a message or write in the group chat so we can meet up. 💪 Stay & climb as long as you want - venue closes at midnight! 🥤 Recharge: If you’ve had enough climbing for the day (we usually do this after 2 hours of climbing), we may head back to the cafeteria (or to the rooftop if it's sunny🌤️) for snacks, drinks & games. Approval is required before your first RSVP. Games format. 95% are double games (unless someone needs a break), typically 4 people play together 2 sets and then mix with players from other fields. We play with plastic shuttles - Yonex Mavis 2000 (which are provided). Registration If it's your first time, please send a private message to the host to confirm. No-shows are taken quite seriously because they unbalance the games a lot. Also once you register please keep an eye on you private messages, in case we need to contact you. Players level Having players with much less experience often unbalances the game making it much less interesting for more experienced players. We still try to be welcoming. As a rule of thumb, if you know what a "clear" is, you are welcome to join. Otherwise, feel free to get in touch with me (John) and we can see if we can arrange so you and existing players can have good experience playing. Price and payments The price of participation is EUR 9. Payment is on-site in cash, or via online. Info provided during or shortly after the event in the WhatsApp group. Cancelations and no-shows Switches and cancellations are free of charge if done more than 50 hours before the start of the matches If you cancel within the 50-hour window before the event starts, you will be placed on the wait-list for the next week's event, whether or not a replacement is found. The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~20 per person. Soft drink refills are 1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes. We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind. Thank you for your continued commitment to providing a fun and welcoming space to veteran, newbie, and rookie gamers in the Columbus area. Parking can sometimes fill esrly. There is additional parking lot behind the neighboring Mexican restaurant that is free and easy to walk from but it's a bit hidden.
