Join us every Sunday and tell a story as a group by playing a beginner-friendly roleplaying game. Every week we have 2-3 different games - you will choose which game you play on the day. All materials provided and rules are explained at the start of each game, you just need to bring your imagination. 🎭 **This week's facilitators:** * 🧬 **Cyrus** with *[BORG-O-Rama!](https://cydeadhunter.itch.io/borg-o-rama)*, a one page RPG mixing sci-fi horror and goofy comedy. You are a group of Alien Cyborgs puppeting human bodies on a secret mission to TAKE OVER THE EARTH!!! As the game goes on the players will begin to experience *Human Emotions* for the first time and perhaps change their allegiance to the BORG… * 🌆 **Vishnu** with *[Hex and the City](https://theinvulnerabletide.itch.io/hex-and-the-city)*, an urban fantasy game based on *Lasers and Feelings*. You are all that stands between the forces of darkness and the innocent people that don't believe in them. Whatever hi-jinks and personal drama you have going on in the background, you have always managed to come through and save this City. Or at least, you have until SERENITY, THE CHOSEN ONE got herself grievously wounded in the last battle, leaving you with no prophetic visions to guide you, or convenient one-shot monster killing powers while she recovers. Our free-of-charge meet-up in the Black Sheep Pub on Capel Street. This is a casual meet up for people who want to play boardgames. Lots of people bring plenty of games and rules will always be explained so don't worry if you're new to the hobby and you don't have anything to bring along or think you won't know how to play. The meet-up runs for the whole day but late comers always welcome, you just may have to wait a little for a game to open up but games will be starting and ending throughout the day. **IMPORTANT!** **The meet up is free of charge but we do ask that people support the bar by buying food and/or drink. The bar is very accommodating to us and it's important that we support them in return. Bringing in outside food or drink is completely unacceptable.** Check out the comments below where people will say what games they are bringing and express your interest in joining if interested. Jugger is a fast paced but easy to pick up sport that is great for beginners. Its like a combination of tag rugby and fencing and is a great way to meet new people and then hit them with a padded stick. Its light contact and the only gear you need to bring is clothing you are comfortable running around in and some water.

Meeting at Ticknock car park (at the mountain bike shop. biking.ie in Google maps) Meeting at 9:40am, outside the bike shop cafe (at entrance of car park), hike will commence immediately thereafter, this hike will cover forest tracks, small section of road and some boggy terrain. Distance: 22km You may bring lunch, snacks and drinks of your choice. Coffee afterwards in the cafe in car park for those who wish and have the time.

**Ticknock Forest Via Belarmine, Fernhill Park.** **Meeting Point : Tara Street Train Station.** **When : Sunday, 7th of June.** **Time 13:30 PM.** We will be meeting at Tara Train Station at 13:30 PM PM (Waiting 5 Minutes) on Sunday Afternoon. At 13:35 PM, we will be walking to the Green Line Tram (Luas) from Marlborough Luas Stop. we will be taking the Scheduled tram to (towards) Brides Glen. We will be getting off the Tram (Luas) at Glencairn Stop (estimated 14:16 PM, (Duration 32 Minutes, 17 Stops). When we get off the Luas (Tram) we will be walking to 20 Minutes (1.4KM) to Belarmine. Arrival Time to Belarmine 14:36 PM (Estimated Time). When we reach Belarmine, there is a Fresh Store and Fire & Stone Eatery both sell Coffee and Food, Fire & Stone have bathroom facilites. Loop Duration 2-3 Hours. When we finish the will be going The Blue Light Pub, after that we can walk back to Belarmine or get the 44 Bus to Dublin or take the Luas back. The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~20 per person. Soft drink refills are 1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes. We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind. Thank you for your continued commitment to providing a fun and welcoming space to veteran, newbie, and rookie gamers in the Columbus area. Parking can sometimes fill esrly. There is additional parking lot behind the neighboring Mexican restaurant that is free and easy to walk from but it's a bit hidden.

Dodgeball is back again! If you’ve been wanting to come out, this is an easy one to join. We’ll be playing for about 1.5 to 2 hours, you do not need to bring any equipment, and no experience is needed. We use a specific set of rules and equipment to make the games run better and keep them fun for everybody, not just people who already know how to play. If it rains, the event will be canceled.

Try new games, meet new people, and find out what story games are all about! Explore the reaches of space! Witness kingdoms rise and fall! Create and explore tragedies! All within a single game night. We play story games like Fiasco, Kingdom, Polaris and Microscope that encourage everyone at the table to participate creatively. We also have one-shots of indie, OSR, and narrative-focused RPGs such as Apocalypse World, Dread, Lady Blackbird, and Old School Essentials! Everybody's welcome! It doesn't matter if you've never tried story games before or never played roleplaying games at all! Just bring your brain and a good attitude and come try it out! *** **IMPORTANT** * When you arrive look for the marked Story Games Columbus Tables. Each table will have a separate game. Seating is on a first-come-first-serve basis. * If all tables are full, look for a Facilitator.
