Und wie soll man mit modernen Partnerfindung umgehen? Führt es zum Glück, wenn man sich vollständig den Dating-Algorithmen der Agenturen anvertraut? Führt das zu einer Gamifizierung der Liebe? Es gibt Leute, die das Wisch-und-Weg-Dating des Beziehungsmarktes mit einem klassischen Gefangenendilemma vergleichen. Weil jeder insgeheim Angst hat, durch Verbindlichkeit eine noch bessere Option zu verpassen, maximieren alle ihren kurzfristigen Nutzen. Viele enden langfristig in der kollektiven Einsamkeit. Ist der „perfekte Partner“ ein statistischer Mythos, der uns unfähig macht, echte Unvollkommenheit zu lieben? Gibt es eine „Pflicht zur Fairness“ im Dating? Gibt es ein so etwas wie Rezept für Partnerschaft und Familie, das man beherzigen sollte? Sind Patchworkfamilien und Partnerschaften auf Zeit unser unabwendbares Schicksal, wenn wir uns binden? Dieser Abend soll die intimste aller menschlichen Verbindungen durch die Brille von Philosophie, Logik, Ethik, Spieltheorie und Soziologie betrachten. Im Zentrum steht die Frage nach dem angemessenen Umgang mit dem Thema Partnerschaft.
