Please join us at New Pages to take your first steps in discovering the essential story of your family tree. Using the book *Metagenealogy: Self-Discovery through Psychomagic and the Family Tree* (Jodorowsky and Costa) as a guiding text, the hosts will help you put together the initial draft of your family tree so that you might learn the essential story you tell and live out in your life. You will then learn the next steps you should take to more fully fill out this story and to make the family tree your ally rather than your enemy. Metageneaology seeks to combine art and science in order to help people create for themselves a meaningful life. Why is this important? We all are in the process of living out some type of story we tell ourselves. Often, this story isn't something we created completely on our own, but is passed down to us via the family tree. It is important that we not only become aware of this story, but that we feel i*n control of it* rather than *being* *controlled by it*. Please join us for the first ever session in this work that we have found immensely help for our own selves. A note: please complete no preparatory work on your tree before the event. You need only bring yourself and perhaps your favorite pen. Attendance is limited to 9 people to allow for adequate time to focus on the discovery and building of each person's tree. The inventor of EventStorming is once again joining the Berlin Collaborative Modeling Meetup for an evening of massive learning, massive laughter, and no doubt a massive number of sticky notes. Here is the agenda: **Collaborative Reverse Roadmapping** We'll put future events on a timeline to build the future we want to happen and make it tactically sound. We'll leverage ideas from * EventStorming (surprise!) * Futurespective * Traditional planning And we'll explore a tool that will enable strategic planning and overcome deadlocks. This is a rare opportunity to spend time with a true thought leader in the DDD community and the person who contributed to the world the whole premise of our meetup. This is a relaxed, casual meetup: **no hardcore competition**, just friendly rivalry. 👉 **Please RSVP only if you plan to attend.** *** **How to Play (Quick Guide):** * **Setup:** Build the island with hex tiles, place number tokens, roads, settlements, and give each player starting resources. * **Turn order:** On your turn, roll two dice to produce resources, then trade and build. * **Resource production:** Players gain resources (wood, brick, sheep, wheat, ore) from tiles next to their settlements/cities when the tile’s number is rolled. * **Robber:** If a 7 is rolled, players with too many cards discard half; move the robber to block a tile and steal a card. *NOTE: Friendly robber rule: We play with the friendly robber rule, which means that the robber cannot be placed on a player with less than 3 points.* * **Trading:** Trade resources with other players or with the bank (usually 4:1, better with ports). * **Building:** Spend resources to build roads, settlements, cities, or buy development cards. * **Victory points:** Earn points from settlements, cities, development cards, Longest Road, and Largest Army. * **Winning:** The first player to reach 10 victory points on their turn wins. * 2-Hours-Max: If no one reaches 10 points by the end of the second hour, the player with the most points wins. Hi folks, this is the special meetup group for the weekly Sunday Blood on the Clocktower games in at BRLO Brwhaus in Berlin. We run beginner-friendly and intermediate-level games throughout the afternoon and evening. **Friendly newcomers of all skill levels are welcome, no experience required!** Our group aims to provide a fun and welcoming space to experience this thrilling game of social deception. **We focus on promoting a positive and fun group atmosphere, where players don’t take themselves or the game too seriously, whether they’re heroically winning or spectacularly losing.** Our players follow the code of conduct for the Berlin Board Gamers group and are expected to treat each other with respect and consideration – “killing with grace, and dying with dignity”. We are usually able to offer two simultaneous games on Sundays. If you are marked as "attending" in Meetup and are in your seat at 15:00, your place is guaranteed for as long as you want to stay. All other seats are first come, first served. We always run at least one beginner-friendly game of the basic version of Clocktower ("Trouble Brewing") throughout the afternoon and evening. We also usually have enough players for a second intermediate-level game. If you are already very familiar with Clocktower, consider also joining our Tuesday meetup for advanced players, when we play with complex custom scripts and characters. Blood on the Clocktower is a deep, mechanical game of murder and mystery, lies and logic, deduction and deception… think Werewolf on steroids. Each player receives a unique secret role and plays either for the good team – the uninformed majority, gathering info and working with others to solve the puzzle – or the evil team, the informed minority, scheming to eliminate good players and protect their demon from execution. In our beginner games no prior experience is expected and we will gladly explain the game rules to any newcomers. We play in English so players should be able to understand and express themselves in English: an exception is possible for one pair of players willing to play together (as a “Revolutionary” pair) where one player can interpret into and out of English. Please let us know in advance if this is the case.

Durch diese Herangehensweise sollen den Teilnehmern Werkzeuge zur Handhabung des eigenen Lebens in die Hand gegeben werden. Denn Philosophie geht weit hinaus über Plauderei, heiße Luft oder abstrakte Glasperlenspiele. Philosophieren heißt auf eine bestimmte Art an sich selbst zu arbeiten. Die Veranstaltung richtet sich an alle - Anfänger und Fortgeschrittene. Dieses Event ist auch als Einführung für jene geeignet, die noch nicht viel mit Philosophie anfangen können. Aber selbst Kenner der Materie werden dieser Methodik etwas abgewinnen können. Als ein Werkzeug werde ich auch eine speziell "trainierte! KI anbieten. Wie immer: Schwurbler und Missionare für Rechts und Links-Außen, Esoteriker sowie andere "erleuchtete" Gruppierungen sind hier falsch.
