We will be playing two games of **Blood Rage** with up to 8 players. All experience levels welcome. Expect the game teach to start promptly within the first 10 minutes. In **Blood Rage** players control the warriors, leader, and ship of their own Viking clan. Invade and pillage the land for its rewards; crush your opponents in battle: fulfill quests: increase your clan's stats: or even die gloriously in battle. Cards are drafted at the beginning of each of the three game rounds granting numerous boons for your clan including: increased Viking strength and devious battle strategies, upgrades to your clan, or even the aid of legendary creatures from Norse mythology. The only losing strategy in Blood Rage is to shy away from battle and a glorious death! Note: Please remember to update your RSVP if you can not attend the event. **The earlier you update your RSVP the better** so that players on the waitlist can attend. No-shows may make it harder to attend future meetups. Also, all library rules apply to this meetup event. Mainly that no food is allowed in the library. Covered drinks are allowed.

It's that time of year again! Time to celebrate the season, and for the yearly appearance of the Santa Dragon! We will be doing our usual Secret Samus this year, but as always, participation is optional. Those who wish to participate can bring a wrapped gift. We ask that you don't break the bank on the gift keeping it around $10 to $20 dollars. You are also welcome to bring a couple extra gifts as well for those who might not be able to get one. It is the time of giving after all. We are also going to be doing a potluck again like we did for Gamesgiving last month. Like Secret Samus, participation is also optional. Those who do take park you can bring a side dish, snacks, dessert or drinks. Also like Secret Samus you don't have to break the bank or your back for your side dish. We will be cooking a ham as the main course along with mashed potatoes and a green bean casserole. To prevent too many of one dish we'll start a thread in our discord channel to coordinate eats. Here's hoping you'll join us! Normal details follow: Vaccine verification will be made via either presentation of your Vaccine card at the door, or a photo of the updated card posted to the vaccine channel of the group Discord. Masks are now optional. Our setup, as it's currently configured, should allow for even better social distancing than we had before, with the secondary gaming area in a completely different room. We've got a decently sized collection of systems ranging from the old 8-16 bit days, on through to all the current systems, including the PS5, Wii U, Nintendo Switch, Ouya, PS4 Pro, Xbox One, PC, Nvidia Shield TV, Evercade VS, and even an Amiga 1200, as well as a decent number of controllers. Please bring any Wii U pro, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, or PS4 controllers you have though, as we could use those, and any games that people might bring would also be welcome. We have a second and third screen with classic consoles and a spare PS4, and have some streaming from our PC, thanks to our Steam Link. We also have an arcade cab, filled to the brim with games! It's also got HDMI inputs. If you have a system you would like to bring along, please do so! Here's hoping to see you all here!!!

We play a variety of high interaction games with a focus on Euros. Events will start with quick games while people arrive and eat lunch. We will start longer games around 2pm. While the official end time is 5pm, people are welcome to continue playing games afterwards. Western Market closes at 7pm on Sundays. Western Market is allowing us to use the space for free. Please reciprocate by purchasing something, even if it is just a soda. Directions If you're taking the Orange, Silver, or Blue lines, exit at the Foggy Bottom metro station and walk two blocks to the east. If you are taking the Red Line, Farragut North is an approximately a 15 minute walk away. There is also free street parking to the north.

Nemesis is a 1-5 player space survival game with incredible miniatures and clever, immersive rules that include cooperation, bluffing, backstabbing, and all other elements of an iconic science-fiction horror adventure. The crew Wakes up from hibernation. The damage report States there is a critical system failure and the ship cannot continue its cruise. The task to find the damage, repair it and safely return to earth. The problem: one crew member is dead. Somebody ripped open his hibernation pod and pulled his body out. To make matters worse, you can hear noises in the vast corridors of the ship. I'm not saying its aliens...

If we're not in the blue room we're at the far left near the beer tanks in the back corner.

######## NEW LOCATION ####### We are going to be at The Forge on Bethel Rd this week and until further notice! The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~$20 per person. Soft drink refills are $1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes. We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind. Thank you for your continued commitment to providing a fun and welcoming space to veteran, newbie, and rookie gamers in the Columbus area! Parking can be challenging. There is a parking lot behind the building that is free and easy to walk from but it's a bit hidden.

Join us at Easton Town Center for a casual evening of board gaming. Play from our library or bring one of your favorites to share. We usually bring along Catan, Ticket to Ride, Cascadia, etc... We'll be set up at a Coffee shop or restaurant, so you may be expected to buy a drink or snack. Why Easton? Although there aren't any board game stores / cafes here, it's a nice area. More importantly, this event coincides with LifeTime Fitness Parent's Night Out, so our kid will get babysat. If you happen to be a member of Lifetime you too can get free babysitting and play some games.

CHANGED to WEDNESDAYS COLUMBUS RECREATION CENTERS require membership fee to play. Register & Pay at the desk when you arrive. $5 day pass is available. I have some extra pickle ball paddles and balls if you don’t have one. Definitely bring your own paddle if you have one and bring some balls if you have them.
