Diamond Alley, one of Washington D.C.'s most popular groups, is a 5 piece Dance/Rock and Variety band performing an exciting and diverse mix of contemporary and classic hits as well as the bands own popular original tunes. Diamond Alley is best known throughout the Mid Atlantic region for their unusual vocal talent (all 5 members sing), outstanding live performance, and audience rapport. Do not bring a pedal board with a bunch of pedals. The amps are dialed in for blues, trust me it's all there. Drums are here already, very basic kit. If you want to bring cymbals or any other drum gear, please show up early to set up. Also please be aware that other people are going to play the kit as well.

Looking for a quiet, focused space to write? Come be part of our writing group—a dedicated time just for writing alongside fellow writers in your community. Hello piano players: I hope you can attend our next meeting – it will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 from 1 – 5 pm at my house, 5612 Cromwell Drive, Bethesda, MD 20816. I will open the doors at 12:30 if you would like to warm up on the piano. I would like to start at 1:00 pm so please show up a few minutes early. Also, reach out to a friend and work up a duet – they are fun and always welcome. In the past we have had duets with two pianos, with singers, and with the clarinet, and they bring a nice variety of music to our meetings.
