No one has to share, and everyone is welcome to. ⸻ What is it about? • Strengthening self-awareness & self-trust • Personal growth • Building deep relationships & trust • Getting to know people on a genuine, human level • Feeling free to express yourself authentically ⸻ Circle Agreements Free & voluntary You are welcome to share anything you like — and you don’t have to share anything. Speak from your own experience Share from your personal perspective: your experiences, thoughts, feelings, and perceptions. The space holder may gently support this by placing a hand on their chest as a signal. Respect & confidentiality We meet each other with respect and without judgment. What is shared in the circle stays in the circle. Talking object Only the person holding the talking object speaks. Clarifying questions are welcome. Sharing time & space Take your time when sharing, and also leave space for others. Advice & support Speak for yourself and offer advice only with consent. Please ask explicitly if you would like to receive advice or support. Triggers & emotions Everyone is responsible for their own feelings and topics. Strong emotions (e.g., crying) are welcome and respected. Support is offered only if desired. Personal needs Please take care of your own needs (bathroom, food, etc.) and respect the group space. Space holders The organizing team selects space holders who support the flow of the circle and help maintain the agreements. The circle may be gently paused if needed. Focus round The space holder may intuitively initiate a short focus round if it feels supportive. Mobile phones Please keep your phone on silent and use it only for notes if needed. Time Duration: approx. 3 hours. You may leave at any time, ideally during the breaks (about every 45 minutes). After the circle, there is space to stay, connect, or continue sharing if you feel like it.

ZUG 🌿 Remove Invasive Plants Together!
ZUG 🌿 Remove Invasive Plants Together!
🌿 **Help Restore Native Nature in Zug – Remove Invasive Plants Together!** 🛠 **What to Expect** Join us for a hands-on community action to protect local biodiversity in **Zug**! We’ll be working together **to remove invasive and non-indigenous plants** that threaten the native ecosystem. These species spread aggressively and outcompete the plants that local wildlife depends on. This time, we will focus on removing the **Butterfly Bush (Buddleja**). Although it provides nectar for adult butterflies, it is not a host plant for most native caterpillars. When invasive plants replace native vegetation, butterfly diversity declines and disrupt local ecosystems. Before we begin, **Stadt Zug Werkhof** will give a short introduction about the environmental impact of invasive plants and why removing them matters. Come get your hands dirty, meet friendly like-minded people, and make **a visible impact in our local community.** Together, we can help native plants 🌿— and butterflies 🦋— thrive again! 🗓 **Date & Time** **Saturday, March 7, 2026** **9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (CET)** You’re welcome to join or leave at any time — every bit of help truly makes a difference! 📍 **Meeting Point** Please meet at **Oberwil B. Zug, Klinik Zugersee – Bus Stop** in Zug. 🚌 **Public Transport - Bus stop: Oberwil B. Zug, Klinik Zugersee** **Bus 603 (from Zug)** **Bus 611 (from Zug)** **Bus 605 (from Walchwil)** Please use public transportation, as there is very limited public parking available at the meeting point and to ensure a smooth and stress-free start to the event. We recommend arriving a few minutes early so we can start on time. 🌍 **Language** This event is in both **English** and **German**. 👕 **What to Wear & Bring** Clothing: * Weather-appropriate, sturdy outdoor clothing * Strong, ankle-high shoes (some areas are steep, and the forest ground can be muddy or wet) Please bring: * Water * A hot drink * Snacks 🥪 We will provide a sandwich if you are staying through lunch. 🛠 Tools for plant removal will be provided by **Stadt Zug Werkhof to clear a** defined area to clear (we finish once it’s done!) ⚠️ **Important Information** * This event is not suitable for children. * Insurance coverage is the responsibility of each participant. By registering for the event, **you are committing to attend**, as everyone’s participation matters. If something unexpected comes up, please let us know **by Thursday, 5 March**, so we can plan accordingly. 🌧 **Weather Policy** If we need to cancel due to weather conditions, we will notify all participants **by 17:00 on Thursday, 5 March**. In case of cancellation, the alternative date is **Saturday, 14 March**. 🗓 **Datum & Zeit** **Samstag, 7.

Free at Bexley Library- Adventures in Ecological Horticulture w Rebecca McMackin
Free at Bexley Library Adventures in Ecological Horticulture with Rebecca McMackin Wednesday, March 18 1:00pm - 2:30pm Gone are the days when a garden could be ornamental alone. We now recognize the impact that our land care practices have on the ecosystems around us, and can see the importance of encouraging biodiversity. Thankfully, we do not need to sacrifice beauty when we invite butterflies and songbirds into our gardens. Rebecca McMackin has cultivated gorgeous landscapes in the toughest environments possible: urban parks, school playgrounds, and the sidewalks of New York City. She will take lessons from her work at Brooklyn Bridge Park, the Brooklyn Museum, and decades of research to share how those of us who are fortunate enough to care for land, can do it beautifully and ecologically. Rebecca McMackin is an ecologically obsessed horticulturist and garden designer. She writes, lectures, and teaches on ecological landscape management and pollination ecology, as well as designs the rare public garden. She is currently Lead Horticulturist for the American Horticultural Society, an Associate with the Harvard Divinity School’s Thinking with Plants and Fungi Initiative, and Consulting Arboretum Curator for Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx, NY. Rebecca spent a decade as Director of Horticulture of Brooklyn Bridge Park, where she managed 85 acres of diverse parkland organically. Their research into cultivating urban biodiversity and ethical management strategies has influenced thousands of people and entire urban parks systems to adopt similar approaches. She has been published by and featured in the New York Times, Gardens Illustrated, on NPR and PBS. Her garden for the Brooklyn Museum recently won the PPA’s Award of Excellence and her TED Talk has been viewed over a million times. She holds M.Sc. from Columbia University and University of Victoria in landscape design and biology and recently completed the Loeb Fellowship at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. This program is presented in partnership with Rooted in Bexley and generously funded by the Bexley Community Foundation and Bexley Community Author Series Fund.

Celebrate National Chip and Dip Day!
***Okay, call me crazy but you have got to try their chip n dip!*** Club 85 is a true hidden gem in German Village! Seriously, old school, good comfort food and drink. We will try to gather in spaces near the windows. While we'll share Chip n Dip, you'll want to order a sandwich, too. **Where the Chip Began (1817)** Potato chips can be traced back to an English chef, William Kitchiner, who includes ‘crisps’ in his bestselling cookbook, “The Cook’s Oracle.” **Chip and Dip Popularity** The popularity of chip and dip skyrockets at the end of World War II with new entertainment fads and the introduction of Lipton’s new advertising campaign for their famous French Onion Dip. (Club 185 doesn't openly admit it, but I'm pretty sure that's their dip recipe!) **[Club 185](http://club185.com/)**—a true neighborhood bar serving since 1954, when it was known as a local 'speak-easy'. Located in German Village, Club 185 features a menu of quality casual comfort food and full bar. From politicians to lawyers, hardhats to hipsters—all find Club 185 the perfect place to tame their hunger and quench their thirst! **PARKING**: I know, brick street parallel parking can be a pain. Two other choices, metered parking along Livingston heading towards Children's Hospital or across the street in the large church lot (park in spaces farthest away from the church entrance doors, closer to the street). **PRE-EVENT**: **HAPPY HOUR (3-5pm)**: Italian drinks and bites at [Cento's happy hour](https://centogermanvillage.com/menus/), nearby.
