Let’s start our Thursday with a relaxed outdoor walk together with dogs 🐕🌲 This is a weekly, easy-paced morning walk in Leimbach area, perfect to get some fresh air before work and let the dogs move and sniff in nature. If it’s rainy, we keep it short and stay on the flat paths.

There are two big fields in Affoltern, just a few minutes away from the Zehntehnhausplatz bus station/Affoltern train station. Far away enough from the forest edge to not have problems with the leash requirements. We can start with the field behind the row of houses on Holderbachweg, and see if we should move on to the bigger field, a 2min walk away. The forest itself is close enough that we could extend to a leashed walk.

Welcome to the Competitive Play Session. This session takes place every Saturday from 10:45 to 12:15 at the Yonex Badminton Hall Hardbrücke. The number of players on the waitlist one week in advance determines the number of courts booked. If you are on the waitlist but can no longer attend, please remove yourself as early as possible. Players are accepted into the session based on skill suitability. This session is for experienced players looking for quality games. Play is focused on doubles with a competitive mindset and consistent rallies. You should be comfortable smashing, return smashes and keeping up a moderate tempo throughout the session. New players and those who are new to badminton are welcome to join the PM Session (Open Level Play). Payment can be made via TWINT after the session.

This weekend, Metal Night Vol. 8 at the Stadtchäller in Winterthur brings together three bands for an evening of hard rock and heavy metal in one of the region's most atmospheric underground venues. 🎶🖤 We will be going there together, not just to enjoy the music, but to support and cheer on our own **Alex**, who takes the stage twice that night, performing with both 13th Warbler and Shinra. Being the awesome artist and animal welfare champion that he is, he donates everything he earns from the event to animal welfare.
