Affoltern get-together đ - Chihuahuas and Toy Breeds
There are two big fields in Affoltern, just a few minutes away from the Zehntehnhausplatz bus station/Affoltern train station. Far away enough from the forest edge to not have problems with the leash requirements. We can start with the field behind the row of houses on Holderbachweg, and see if we should move on to the bigger field, a 2min walk away. The forest itself is close enough that we could extend to a leashed walk.

Weâll begin with a gentle **Yin Yoga practice**, featuring long-held, calming postures that release tension and soothe the nervous system. No rush, no pressure â just space to arrive and soften. đ§ââïž
As you rest into stillness, youâll be immersed in the healing vibrations of a **soundbath** with crystal and Tibetan bowls. The sounds will guide you into a meditative state, helping you drop out of your head and into your body. đ¶
After the workshop we will go in a cafe for a drink to relax and socialize.

Join us for an easy-going and friendly walk among women (+). As usual, weâll meet in front of the entrance to the Zurich Opera House.
We usually gather between 12:00 and 12:15. If you let us know youâre coming, weâll wait for you or share our live location.

Humanist Program
The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called "Going to HCCO" and we still like to think of it as our flagship event.
We will be hearing from Becca Powell, Director of Advocacy and Outreach at Unchained At Last, an organization whose mission is dedication to ending forced and child marriage in the United States through direct services and systems change. Unchained At Last's mission clearly meshes and addresses several of our Humanist Ten Commitments. Becca will educate us about an issue many of us may not be familiar with--but should be.
Food and drinks will be provided at the event. Feel free to show up a little bit early to hang out and talk.

**HOW IT WORKS**
**Step 1: Bring a topic**
Before you arrive, think of **one** topic you want to explore. A question. A thought that's been on your mind. An obsession you want to geek out on. This is your ticket to the event.
**Step 2: Circle up & share**
We gather in a circle. Your friendly walk host gives a speech to set the tone. Everyone shares: your name, what you're grateful for, and your topic. That's it. 60 seconds.
**Step 3: Walk, talk & float**
We walk 5 miles. You naturally drift into conversation with 2-3 people at a time, pulled by topics that spark your curiosity. When you're ready to move on, just say: "I'm going to float!"
**Step 4: Feel more alive**
