Unhappy Hour Breathwork: Release Emotional Wounds, Heart Break and Grief
### **Whatās Unhappy Hour Breathwork, you ask? Itās our conscious breathing session to embrace our discomfort, sip some soothing tea, and dive deep into the beautiful chaos that is our childhood trauma, daddy issues, mommy issues, work stress, and those oh-so-fun failed relationships. Think of it as a cozy gathering where we can unpack our baggage together, all while sharing a laugh or two (or maybe a few tears).** Letās be real life isnāt always sunshine and rainbows, and thatās perfectly okay.**We will give ourselves permission to be gloriously miserable for a full 90 minutes to** release the weight of our struggles. By using our own conscious breathing weāll transform our experiences into something powerful and healing. Session will end with a soothing sound bath. Tea will be provided! Mark your calendars for this weekly dose of camaraderie and self-discovery.
**What is Breathwork?** Breathwork falls under an umbrella term with many different marketing names and techniques. For this session we will be focusing in one technique while laying down on our back. This is NOT your typical relaxing breathing and it DOES NOT INVOLVE ANY YOGA movement. Breathwork takes us deep into the subconscious mind to make necessary changes and improve our lives by releasing emotional baggage and healing emotional wounds. When we tap into deep states of consciousness emotional release may take the shape of crying, laughing, even screaming. Many people like to call it years of therapy in one single session. It is very common to experience moments of clarity, bliss and many Aha moments during this session. Each person will experience something different with every session. All you need is an open mind and your own breathing to achieve results with no prior experience. Please note breathwork cautions before booking.
**What you may experience during this session:**
-Deep healing of emotional wounds, grief and traumas
-Ability to connect to your higher self, Ancestors and the divine
-Release anxiety -Improve emotional balance
-Increased feelings of joy, happiness, and inner peace
-Ability to create self-love and improve relationships
**What to bring:**
-Your own water bottle
-A pen and notebook
-A Yoga mat (or use one at the studio)
-A blanket ( or use one at the studio)
-Eye mask (if you have one)
-Comfortable clothes to breathe and lay down

Paws and Pints š šŗ (Valentineās Edition! š)
Grab a pint and a feline friend and meet us at the pub. Your cat might be under 21, but that doesnāt mean that we canāt drink! Letās unwind after work with paws and pints at a local happy hour.
With Valentineās Day coming up, wearing red or pink (either youself or your cat) Is encouraged!
Feel free to come with or without a cat and get ready to socialize and raise a glass with fellow cat lovers. š» This is a great opportunity to make new friends.
If you get there before 7, happy hour will still be going on. Drinks cost $3 to $5! I will order some appetizers for the table.
This place is super chill and lets cats inside (I chatted with the workers, they LOVE pets) so we will be meeting inside unless the weather is really good. Due to this we probably will be keeping the cats in their carriers for the most part if we are inside.
I will be bringing my cat Misty and we would love to meet you! If you bring your cat, make sure they are wearing a collar, harness, leash, in a backpack, carrier, and/or stroller.
Looking forward to seeing everyone there!
š
æļø Parking: Parking is available at two different parking garages in the Rockville Town Center:
Garage A
Entrances located off of Maryland Avenue and 355.
Garage B
Entrance located off of Maryland Avenue.
Parking is free for the first 90 minutes and after that it is $3 for up to 3 hours. You pay at a kiosk in the garage before you leave and present the ticket at the exit. There is some street parking but not a lot.
āļø Metro: The bar is walking distance from the Rockville station off the red line towards Shady Grove.
Heads up: this is a loud environment so I would not recommend this event for cats that are not used to being out and about.

Free In-Person Events: How to Let Go of the Past and Move Forward
The emotional pain from past bad experiences easily lingers in the present, making it hard to enjoy life and create your future. Even when you think you've moved on, the negative emotions can be triggered, sending you back into the pain of that experience.
And we are talking about pain; emotions such as grief, depression, anxiety, fear (or terror), boiling anger, simmering resentment, feelings of shame, blaming and regret can leave you incapacitated to a greater or lesser degree.
In this local event we will be discussing the reasons why these past bad experiences have the power to affect you long after they occurred. We'll go over why the emotional pain can be so strong. We'll also discuss some simple solutions to overcome your emotional pain and be free to fully enjoy your life again.
Examples of painful experiences include:
* A broken relationship or divorce.
* Death or loss of a loved one.
* Death of a pet.
* A sudden shock or bad news.
* A betrayal.
* Being part of an abusive relationship.
* A bad injustice.
* Loss of a job, position or business.
* A grave illness or injury.
The negative emotions from these experiences don't just go away on their own. But the good news is there is a way to clear them out of your way.
Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there.
This group is sponsored the Dianetics & Scientology Self-Improvement Center.

The film is directed by Emerald Fennell (Promising Young Woman, Saltburn) and is loosely based on the classic novel by Emily Bronte. It stars Margot Robbie, Jacob Elordi, Alison Oliver, Owen Cooper and Hong Chau!
TRAILER: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3fLCdIYShEQ
PLAN: Weāll plan for a 7pm-ish showing and will meet inside the lobby area about 30 minutes before the show begins. Advance ticket purchase not required for this theater but early arrival is advised! Be sure to mention youāre with the Movie Group for admission and concession discounts! And, after the movie, donāt miss the best part of the night ā food and drinks at the nearby Rusty Bucket! Want to Truly Heal from Emotional Trauma?
Why are we unhappy? Where does emotional pain come from? Studies show that people who suffer from long-term emotional pain have painful experiences in their lives that were never fully resolved in their mind. In other words, there were issues in the past that were not completely dealt with. This can include abuse in childhood, breakups, divorce, death of a loved one, to name a few.
How do you know whether you have gotten over something painful? Here is an easy test: Do you still have attention on what had happened to you? For instance, do you still find yourself thinking about something painful that you went through? If you are, then you are not over it. In fact, in severe cases, people find themselves playing a "tape" in their mind over and over again.
So how do you heal from your past? How do you stop the "tape" playing in your mind? In this meeting, you will learn a technique to help you with that.
Come join us! Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there.
This group is created by the Dianetics and Scientology life improvement center.
Freeing the Soul - An Introductory Circle
Meeting Room 3B, Main Library
Join us for a welcoming evening of reflection, gentle music, and meaningful conversation. Weāll begin with a short grounding moment, followed by a brief reading from spiritual or philosophical traditions, and an open reflection circle where participants can share (or simply listen).
Libera Animae is an interfaith community focused on inner growth, creativity, and authentic connection. This first gathering is a simple introduction to the spirit of the group and a chance to meet others seeking deeper meaning and community.
All backgrounds are welcome.
Free In-person Meeting: Unwanted Emotions & Loneliness, How to Get Over Them
This is an in-person meeting.
Did you know that unwanted emotions like loneliness, sadness, hopelessness, anger, fear, anxiety, or feelings of irritation donāt just fall on you for no reason. They are not random occurrences that simply happen to people's minds. They are definitely not chemical imbalance in your brain due to some nebulous chemical reactions by chance.
Your negative emotions are the symptoms of the painful experiences that you have which are not healed, and which are still affecting you.
The effects of these painful experiences are exacerbated by the pressures or difficulties of the other problems in your life.
For instance, let's say you are already carrying a huge load on your back, then you cannot take on much more, but, let's say something else happens to you, such as the difficulties from the Pandemic, then the resultant combined weight on you can take you over the edge, kind of like the straw that break the camel's back. When this happens, people's attention usually goes to the straw that was added, but actually the majority of the weight had come from the huge load that were already there, holding a person down and causing a person issues.
So how do you remove the huge load that was already there? How do you lighten them up? Is it possible to get rid of them?
That is what this meeting will be all about.
Come to our Meetup, where we can introduce you to some of the knowledge, tools and techniques of the breakthroughs in the field of the mind that we can apply to this ever important area of life.
Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there.
