I have designed it as a **kickstart to your photography journey**, helping you build solid foundations early on so you don’t hit a creative plateau after learning only classic rules of photography. The workshop is beginner-friendly and assumes **no deep technical knowledge**. At the same time starting with basics, we will be building foundation that will help you become even better than some of the professionals. We’ll start with the fundamentals of exposure and camera control, then move into composition and subject-focused photography. The goal is not just to know *how* to set your camera, but to understand **why you make certain choices** and how they support the image. Many beginners shoot from where they stand, reacting to scenes instead of observing them. I'm hosting a street photography workshop at one of my favourite locations to capture in Vienna, its famous funfair Prater 🎡 Home to the Wiener Riesenrad (the Ferris wheel featured in film noir classic ‘The Third Man’), this location offers plenty to photograph in terms of its entertaining rides, people and history. The workshop features an introductory presentation on street photography of approx. 15mins, along with tips along the way from a photographer featured by The Guardian, BBC and Time Out 📸 It's also a great opportunity to meet with other photographers, and a chance to get some tips on street photography along the way, for those who are interested in the medium. All are welcome - whether you're a tourist or a local. All events take place in English.
