Life drawing, shorter poses, experimental and fun! This session will be run by Freya Tate, a wonderful artist with a sharp eye and a playful line. The session will be life model focused but Freya will introduce chaotic elements to challenge you and move your drawing on to higher levels. We continue our regular **monthly photography meet-up** sessions for artists and photographers in South London at the **Phoenix Community Center** in **Crystal Palace**. These group sessions are suitable for beginners, emerging talent and intermediate practitioners who wish to expand their photography or lens-based practice. The sessions are led and guided, yet invite self-determination and participation, with a vision for the group to develop its own goals, both personal as well as a group ambition. Meetings take place usually once per month, on Wednesday evenings 7pm-9pm. Sessions can be booked individually, the fee is 25£ per session. In subsequent classes we will verify and hone our talents with activities and discussion. These are hands-on workshops and participation is expected. The goal of our series will be to develop expertise in areas of particular interest such as mediumship, channeling, divination, healing and, etc.. As a follow-up to our macro class and to get ready for our May and June Field Shoots, we are going to have a macro training "class." I will attempt to work through a number of macro shoots with the group. Those with cameras can try to shoot the same subjects I am shooting. We will start with some small objects and work our way down to smaller and smaller ones. As we photograph each subject, we will consider depth of field, focal plane management, subject composition, background, and lighting. I have no idea how many subjects we will get through, but we will give it our best shot (pun intended!). Bring your camera, whatever macro gear you might have, a tripod if you have one, whatever lighting you may have, etc. This will really be an exercise in seeing what you have, me showing you some ways to approach the subjects, and seeing what works! I am going to add an extra hour to this meeting! CYA There!!!!!
