It has been ONE YEAR since we took over the book club! 🥳 That’s one whole year of amazing reads, passionate discussions, unexpected plot twists, and meeting wonderful people along the way. To celebrate this milestone properly, we’re organizing a special outdoor anniversary party. 🌞🍹🎶 Expect: ✨ Delicious food & refreshing drinks ✨ A fun group game (with prices for the best readers 👀) ✨ Good vibes, laughter, and bookish discussions ✨ A chance to celebrate our incredible community together We’ll take care of the snacks, drinks, and activities, we’re simply asking for a small contribution to help cover the costs of the event and support the Meetup subscription for the year ahead, so we can keep this lovely club going strong. 📚❤️ Whether you’ve been with us since the beginning or just joined recently, come celebrate with us! Bring your smile, your picnic spirit, and maybe your competitive side for the game. 😄 To participate we ask for a contribution of 14€. At the end of each session we will listen to your creations !

Nothing brings history to life more than Books! 📖✨ For this session, bring along any book connected to history that has stayed with you, sparked your curiosity, or changed how you see the past. It can be a historical novel, a memoir, a non-fiction, or any story rooted in a real era or event! Let’s explore different moments in time through books and discuss how history is remembered, imagined, and retold across genres. (Feel free to bring along a physical copy of your books to participate in the tradition of a group photo of our books for the event! 📖) This is a themed book club, so no required reading! Just come ready to share your thoughts and opinions and unexpected takes on any history-related book you’d like :) P.S. I’ll reach out before the event to confirm attendance. Let's mix and boogie! We'll start with social time over dinner/appetizers/drinks from 6:00-8:00pm. Then we'll get down with a live band [Shucking Bubba Deluxe](http://www.shuckingbubba.com/). COVER CHARGE: $10.00 (cash) SBD: A great danceable cover band playing popular genres of music - funk, classic rock, pop & club/dance. [Harry Buffalo](http://www.harrybuffalo.com/locations/westerville/) has a wide selection of quality appetizers and entrees. Harry Buffalo seating is first come/first serve this evening. We need a few folks to be there by 6:00pm or so to secure a table on the patio. DRESS: Late Summer Patio (picnic table friendly) BAD WEATHER CANCEL (usually by 4pm) PARKING: lots near restaurant and down the street. Do not park at Taco Bell.

We may pick a specific topic and post in advance or may discuss current events and various ad hoc topics . We would love to spend time hanging out and getting to know one another. In this session we'll explore strategies to protect our codebases through unit and integration testing, documentation, and code review along with additional ways of providing context and guard rails to our AI agents as they carry out the work we've assigned them to do. By the time we're done, you'll have a firm grasp of the problem and understand some helpful options for protecting your codebase from vibe coding mishaps getting YOLOed into prod. **YouTube Link** TBD

Hey Everyone! Let's meet at Belle's Bread Bakery and Cafe. There is lots of free parking and easy access to the cafe and many shops and restaurants as well. This is a great way to meet new and old friends while chatting about life and practicing English language speaking skills. All are welcome and encouraged to join us anytime between 11am and 1pm.
