Kirchberg Loop [15 km]: Fast Hike [At least 6 km/h]
Hello everyone! For the ones like me that don't plan to party hard tonight, celebrating Duke's birthday (if that could ever be the the reason :D), but would like to go sporty early tomorrow, I got you ;) No one wants to rely on infrequent public transportation on a public holiday, so we go on a beutiful hike in the heart of the city :) https://www.alltrails.com/trail/luxembourg/luxembourg/autour-kirchberg **Please pay attention**: This is a hike for people that can maintain an average speed of at least 6 km/h, so that we finish the 15 km in around 2.5 hours. We could easily go above 6 km/h if you'd like since the trail is very easy! Only 257 m elevation gain. So, please join me only if you know you can keep this pace! **Meeting point**: We meet at Coque's parking lot. **Contact**: My wapp number is +306985027222. If you don't use wapp, my phone number is +352621132389. **Disclaimer**: The hike is at your own risk. Please come prepared (hiking shoes, at least 1.5 litres of water, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses,...) And I repeat, please join this hike only if you can keep an average pace of at least 6 km/h :)
Lean Agentic AI: Optimising AI
Lean Agentic AI: Optimising AI
From Real-Time Intelligence to Legacy Mastery: The Era of AI Agents
From Real-Time Intelligence to Legacy Mastery: The Era of AI Agents
**Cloud Native Night Munich** AI agents are rapidly evolving from simple assistants into autonomous systems capable of reasoning, maintaining context, and interacting with complex environments. In this meetup, we’ll explore two practical applications of modern agentic AI in software engineering. The first talk dives into building stateful AI agents that work with real-time data, covering the architectural patterns and challenges behind creating responsive, context-aware systems. The second talk showcases how agentic AI can be applied to understanding and analysing complex legacy applications — helping uncover program flows, dependencies, and hidden system knowledge that would otherwise take countless hours to explore manually. Whether you’re building AI-powered applications, modernising enterprise systems, or simply curious about the future of intelligent software, this meetup offers hands-on insights into how AI agents are transforming the way we interact with technology THIS MEETUP WILL BE HYBRID. **\|** Zoom Link will be available shortly before the meetup \*\*\* AGENDA \*\*\* * 6\.30 PM \| Doors open\. Grab some snacks & drinks\. * 7\.00 PM \| Welcome & Intro – **Start of hybrid meetup** * 7\.15 PM \| **Building Stateful AI Agents with Real-Time Data**, Gregor Bauer (VP Customer Engineering at CrateDB) * \~8:15 PM \| **Hosty - The next level with Agentic AI,** Martin Binder (Lead IT Consultant at QAware) * afterwards: More snacks & drinks, and a lot of time for networking with all attendees and speakers. \*\*\* ABSTRACTS \*\*\* **Building Stateful AI Agents with Real-Time Data**, Gregor Bauer (VP Customer Engineering at CrateDB) Most AI demos are stateless. Real systems are not. Modern AI applications increasingly depend on continuously changing operational data: events, metrics, logs, transactions, sensor streams, and user activity. This creates a new architectural challenge: how do we build AI agents that can reason over live data while remaining scalable and observable ? This talk explores the architecture of stateful AI systems and agentic applications. We will cover: * streaming-first AI architectures * real-time context enrichment * combining vector search with structured queries * memory layers for AI agents * latency and scalability considerations * operational lessons from large-scale data platforms The session provides practical guidance for engineers designing production-ready AI platforms. **Hosty - The next level with Agentic AI,** Martin Binder (Lead IT Consultant at QAware) To migrate legacy systems, you need to understand these IT dinosaurs, at least partially. So code analysis up to a certain level is unavoidable. What used to take months, sometimes years without LLMs is now doable in a few days with Gemini and friends. And yet: you still have to drive the analysis yourself, stitch the LLM's partial results into a coherent picture and fight the context window. With old source files thousands of lines long, that part really hurt. Agentic AIs like Claude Code are not just another AI feature. They change how you approach unfamiliar systems — fast, and without the headaches that LLM chat workflows used to come with. Teaser: an analysis that took us a few days under "yay!" cheers is now done in minutes. \*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\* Please comply with our [Code of Conduct](https://www.greenmanifesto.de/en/code-of-conduct). Please note that photos are taken during the meetup. If you do not want to appear in the photos, please contact the meetup team at the beginning of the event. Neurodivergent Women Navigating Midlife Changes - Sleep, Rest, and Connection
Neurodivergent Women Navigating Midlife Changes - Sleep, Rest, and Connection
Sleep, Rest & Connection: Building Our Community Together Join us for the next gathering of The Pause Collective — a supportive meetup for neurodivergent women navigating perimenopause, menopause, burnout, overwhelm, and life transitions. Since many of us haven't yet had the opportunity to meet, we'll begin by getting to know one another and sharing what brought us to this community. We'll also explore one of the most common challenges many women experience during this season of life: sleep. Whether you're navigating insomnia, waking up in the middle of the night, racing thoughts, night sweats, exhaustion, burnout, or simply not feeling rested, you're not alone. This will be a relaxed, low-pressure coffee shop meetup focused on connection and conversation. No need to prepare anything. No pressure to share. Come as you are. Together we'll: • Introduce ourselves and get to know one another • Share what brought us to The Pause Collective • Discuss sleep, rest, and energy during perimenopause and menopause • Exchange ideas, experiences, and support • Explore what topics we'd like to discuss in future gatherings • Continue building the kind of community we'd like to create together This space is neurodivergent-affirming, self-diagnosis-friendly, and supportive of different communication styles and energy levels. Quiet participation is welcome. Listening is participating. Whether you're looking for support, learning, friendship, or simply a place where you don't have to explain yourself, you are welcome here. I look forward to meeting you. — Dawn
