Members of the public are invited to view the wonders of the universe through the telescopes of NOVAC volunteers at the Smithsonian's Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, VA. You do not need to be a member of the club or own any astronomical equipment to attend. Telescopes will be provided by the Smithsonian and pre-approved members of the NOVAC. No other personal telescopes are permitted at the event. The event will take place on the bus parking lot of the museum. **Please park your vehicle at the south end of the main visitors lot and follow signs and red lights to the observing site. As a reminder, parking during the event is free.** Have a cosmic question? One of NOVAC's astronomers or museum staff will be happy to help you. Thank you to everyone who attended our last meet up. It was wonderful to see you and share ideas on how to make our holistic practices the new normal for our community. Our next meet up will be on May 4th at 7PM at 9255 Center Street, Suite 406. Manassas, VA 20110. The focus of this meetup will be utilizing techniques for Pain Management. We will have a discussion of how we each address dealing with pain in our practices and how we can use these tools to help the community. There will be light refreshments and we will have a further group discussion about how to use this group to create better business opportunities for those in our fields. As we make the holistic approach to health a more common occurrence, we increase our opportunity to making a living at what we do. Please bring another person with you who might be interested in learning more about our practices. Now, we’re bringing you the World Premiere of the musical adaptation of her hit play. Anthony turns up in Caroline’s bedroom one night bearing waffle fries, a beat-up book, and a homework assignment they’re supposed to do together: explore Walt Whitman’s poem “Song of Myself.” Chronically sick, Caroline hasn’t been to school in a while… and can’t even remember meeting some kid named Anthony, which dials up both her suspicions and her “snark-o-meter.” But as the two get to know each other, they finally learn of the deeper mystery that brought them together. Whitman’s powerful poetry inspires the music and lyrics by American Idol veteran Ari Afsar, which expands the magic of Gunderson’s remarkable story.
