Inclusive Grief Circle: Honouring Loss Through Ceremony, Community & Creativity
Inclusive Grief Circle: Honouring Loss Through Ceremony, Community & Creativity
Read reviews from past participants [here](https://www.greenhousecreativesanctuary.com/inclusivegrief) “Grief has never been private, it has always been communal. Subconsciously, we are awaiting the presence of others, before we can feel safe enough to drop to our knees on the holy ground of sorrow. For the most part, grief is not a problem to be solved, not a condition to be medicated, but a deep encounter with an essential experience of being human. Grief becomes problematic when the conditions needed to help us work with grief are absent.” - Francis Weller Our primary association with grief is the loss of a loved one but there are so many kinds of losses that don't have formal ceremonies that are important to honour. Unprocessed grief can accumulate in weight, dulling our senses and capacity for aliveness. This is a safe, supportive space for all shapes, sizes and textures of grief- for the loss of our loved ones, for the childhood we did not get to have, for the parts of ourselves that have been rejected and exiled, for friendships and relationships with ambiguous endings, for homes and communities we are distanced from and miss, for the suffering of the world and our fellow beings. This inclusive grief circle is also an advocacy for compassionate and attentive grief work, for reshaping our understanding of and relationship with grief. It is a holding space, a container, a time and a deep permission to acknowledge our emotions, our connections, the ways we have been touched and transformed, and our humanity. We will make art in response to the Artist Grief Deck, participate in a burning ritual, share and witness each other’s stories and journeys, and co-create a group nature mandala together. **Please bring a jar and 8-10 similar natural objects (8 flowers or 8 sticks or 8 stones).** If you are facing financial hardship, please key in CONCESSION as a promo code for a discounted price of $25. If that is still difficult, please email me at greenhouse.arttherapy@gmail.com. No one will be turned away. **Please also note:** * This is an art-therapy informed community-based creative gathering, and is not intended to replace individual or group therapy, and is also not for emergency crisis support or intervention. * If you are comfortable with me taking photos of you and/or your artwork for my learning and supervision purposes, and to offer others a sense of what the workshop is like, please let me know at the start of the session. Your participation would be greatly appreciated! * While the estimated time is 2 hours, it might overrun depending on the size of the group and the conversations we are having so please allow some grace for that.

Founding Beta: Midlife Relationship Clarity Program — Free 4-Week Pilot
Founding Beta: Midlife Relationship Clarity Program — Free 4-Week Pilot
Feeling torn about staying in or leaving your long-term relationship? This free founding beta is for adults aged 40+ who want a calm, structured way to think through a difficult relationship decision with more clarity and less mental looping. This program is **counsellor-designed** and evidence-informed. It draws on decision psychology, reflective counselling methods, and practical tools that help people slow down, sort through competing thoughts and feelings, and identify a clearer next step. It is educational in nature and focused on structured reflection and values-based decision making, rather than therapy or guaranteed outcomes. The beta is being offered free to a small group in exchange for honest feedback. Participants will get program materials, support through email during the beta, and a brief feedback form at the end to shape the next version; feedback may be used with consent. **What’s included** * Free access to the Midlife Relationship Clarity beta for 4 weeks. * Short self‑paced lessons with guided reflection exercises. * Optional email support to help apply the framework. * The opportunity to shape a counsellor‑designed program through your feedback. **Who this is for** * Adults aged 40+. * People feeling stuck, torn, or mentally exhausted by a relationship decision. * People who are open to reflection, journalling, and guided exercises. * People who can commit around 2 hours per week for 4 weeks. * People willing to give thoughtful feedback at the end. **Who this is not for** * Anyone needing urgent crisis, legal, or safety support. * Anyone looking for private therapy through Meetup. If your situation involves immediate risk, domestic violence, or acute distress, please seek appropriate crisis or specialist support instead of joining this beta. **Why this program may be helpful** Many people do not need more opinions. They need a calmer structure for thinking. This beta is designed to help participants: * reduce overthinking, * clarify what matters most, * notice common decision traps, * prepare for honest conversations, * and identify one meaningful next step. Because this is an early cohort, the experience will include personal email support alongside the self‑paced materials. **Beta commitment** This is free, but it is not casual. To keep the group valuable and manageable, places are limited. Participants are asked to: * work through the weekly material, * complete a short end-of-program feedback form, * and reply honestly to a few check-in questions during the beta. **Application question** When you RSVP, please answer this question: What single relationship decision are you weighing, and can you commit \~2 hours per week for 4 weeks? (Yes / No) If this sounds like the kind of structured support you’ve been looking for, RSVP and answer the application question. Selected participants will receive the full details by email.
SomaPsycheSpace (Medicare/NDIS)
SomaPsycheSpace (Medicare/NDIS)
Somatic psychotherapy is starting to feel like the psychology of our time. Both ancient and emerging, it has proven distinctly helpful for people seeking to change unhelpful coping strategies, regulate dysregulated emotions, and reconnect with the body and authentic self. Especially for those who didn’t find the change they were seeking through conventional talk therapies. This work combines physical practices with consciousness-expanding techniques. In deeply embodied states, the body can reveal an innate wisdom that guides us toward profound relaxation and can spontaneously complete, release, or integrate stuck, immobilised survival responses. These experiences can cultivate peak states that support lasting transformation and deep healing. Doing this sacred work in community adds another layer of richness, offering a deep sense of connection and belonging. Because somatic work is not a one size fits all, Adarsa is aiming to diversify the work, by offering an *Ouroboric,* high activation class and a *Lotus* gentle, regulatory class. **Ouroboric Classes** (High Activation): Designed for those experiencing hyperarousal—anxiety, restlessness, racing thoughts, hypervigilance, and difficulty relaxing. These dynamic sessions provide a safe container to mine the body for the unhelpful stories it’s been carrying—through vigorous movement and breathwork—so we can go to the root of discomfort and allow it to shift. **Lotus Classes** (Gentle Regulation): Created for those in hypoarousal states—shutdown, dissociation, numbness, fatigue, and depression. These nurturing sessions gently awaken the system and gradually build capacity for feeling and presence. Each class integrates: * Somatic practices tailored to your nervous system state * Yoga and mindful movement * Transformative breathwork * Guided meditation * Art therapy for integration * Community connection and sharing Join us in discovering which pathway serves your unique healing journey. **Affordable Access Through Medicare & NDIS** 💚 **Mental Health Care Plan holders:** Access 10 group sessions with almost the entire class fee covered by Medicare. 💙 **NDIS participants:** Full class fees covered under your NDIS funding. Read below to learn about our groups and click the links at the bottom to apply. ### **What is an Outdoor Empowerment Group?** Our Outdoor Movement & Community Empowerment Groups are simple, guided experiences designed to help people reconnect with nature, themselves, and others. We combine some form of movement (hike, walk, run, bike, yoga, workout) and meaningful conversation within a simple community circle to create a space where individuals can support each other while prioritizing mental and physical well-being. Whether you’re seeking stress relief, personal growth, or community, our groups offer everyone a unique and welcoming environment. ## **Why Join?** * **Improve Mental & Physical Well-Being** – Movement, nature, and supportive conversations reduce stress and promote balance. * **Feel Less Alone** – Build genuine connections with like-minded people in a safe, welcoming space. * **Gain Clarity & Perspective** – Step outside daily routines and into a space designed for personal growth and reflection. ## **The Ideal Group Leader** The ideal group leader * Has a born-in passion for mental health, movement, connecting with nature and building community. * Has 5 extra hours per week to dedicate to a meaningful cause for at least one year. Yes, you can leave any organization at any time and we can also ask you to leave, but we are building with legacy in mind and we need people who can commit and be ALL IN on this mission to build with us. * Is independently financially stable with the ability to volunteer with no expectation of pay. We believe mental health should be accessible, community-driven, and rooted in nature. This approach allows us to keep our events accessible to everyone, regardless of financial circumstances, while also ensuring that we can continue expanding our reach. It’s a great way to pay it forward and support the growth of this beautiful mission! Every contribution helps us: * **Cover Essential Costs** – Donations allow us to pay essential legal, marketing, insurance, and admin costs as well as nourish the important people who run the organization. * **Grow Our Mission** – With your support, we can bring these healing experiences to thousands more people in the future and execute our long term plan to expand across the USA, affecting up to 500,000 people per year. By choosing to contribute, you’re not just leading an event—you’re helping build a mental health movement that supports long-term well-being and connection for all during a severe mental health epidemic. ## **Come Join Us!** We’d love to have you be part of this growing community of people prioritizing their mental health, movement, and connection. đŸ”č **Visit Our Website to Learn More:** https://speakyourmind.men/joinusoutside đŸ”č **Apply Here to Lead Your Own Group!** – https://form.jotform.com/taketimespeakyourmind/sym-group-leader-application đŸ”č **Support the mission**: If you resonate with the mission and want to support, feel free to join a group before applying or donate to help us reach our goals to help more people!
