Games will be played to 15 points, with a cap at 18 points. These games are intended to be played at a high-intermediate(BB)/advanced(A) level. Join me for an evening of live classical music at Hamer Hall as the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra performs Great Passions. The updated program now includes Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 20 and Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 4, with Jaime Martín conducting. Finnish pianist Paavali Jumppanen joins the orchestra for Mozart’s dramatic and expressive concerto, followed by the huge orchestral sound of Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 4. We’re still working to get more people into these Meetups, but our goal is to give PlayYourCourt members a few social tennis outings each week in addition to your practice sessions and Challenge League matches.
