More experienced Beginners are recommended to come use this to strengthen their core steps. We found that by doing it this way, new students get a much better dance experience overall. This Improver to Intermediate level class will concentrate on Cuban Salsa & Rueda De Casino to raise the level of the Beginners to Improver Level and higher\. **What is Rueda De Casino?** *Rueda De Casino*, also called just *'Rueda'*, in it's basic form means 'Casino wheel', where dance couples comes together to form a circle, with one main 'caller', who calls out the names of different Cuban Salsa figures made up of different sequences of fun dance moves, which are danced by the couples in synchronisation. As the level of the dancers improve, so does the figures performed become more elaborate and complicated and with the constant change of partner calls, make the dance fun and exciting for the dancers, as well as spectators who view the dance. **8.30pm – 9.30pm** **\*\*\* CLASS #3: BACHATA** *(Absolute Beginner to Improver Level)* \* No experience or partner necessary - all welcome \- Bachata is the second most popular Latin dance around the world after Salsa **CLASS COST:** Casual/Drop-in attendance: Any Main class - $20 per class Any 2 Classes on the night - $30 for both classes or Do ALL CLASSES on the night for only $35! ***\* Please note:*** We only accept **CASH** on this night **CLOTHING & SHOES:** Comfortable casual clothing. Requirement: First Timer level or understanding of Basic footwork, timing & turn patterns. *** SALSA INTERMEDIATE LEVEL 7:00PM (Suggested duration 12 months) This level expands on lengthy routines with double turns and spinning for males and females. Requirement: For those who have danced for at least 3 months in Beginner level 1, dance in time and can pick up complicated new moves with ease. *** ADVANCED LEVEL 8:00PM (Suggested duration on-going) A very challenging class, fast-paced with intricate turn patterns, routines, Salsa styling and Shines. Requirement: For those who have danced for at least 6-12 months in Intermediate level. Excited to announce our new ADVANCED openplay session during the week at KCARC! Welcome to Melbourne Volleyball Academy. 🤗 **[[WHAT]]** This session is specifically for games only (no training). There will be a cap of 18 players, allowing for 3 teams of 6. Games will be played to 15 points, with a cap at 18 points. These games are intended to be played at a high-intermediate(BB)/advanced(A) level. Like Improv Storytelling, Music or singing? In this session we will combine these elements to create an improvised musical blending the story of theatre, the fun of improv and the magic of music. We'll start off with some singing and improv warm up activities, do a quick rundown of sorry structure, suggest a topic and then get into exploring the world and characters a (musical) scene at a time, hopefully reaching some sort of satisfying conclusion! Depending on interest, we may take turns acting and singing in the scene and being musicians. It's all very amateur so if you have basic level improv or musical skills you're most welcome to join! I will bring a keyboard and acoustic guitar, but BYO other instruments, voice and snacks. Last time it was a lot of fun, so we hope to recreate that magic again! attendance fee is $10, payable on the day Some level of exposure to music, improv theatre, role-playing or similar is recommended but not compulsory.
