Klaar voor een stevig potje 5v5? 🏃‍♂️⚽ We brengen expats en locals samen voor een actieve, plezante pickup-match. Geen gedoe of drama zoals in de competitie—gewoon een stevige workout, goed voetbal en de kans om toffe mensen uit de buurt te leren kennen. Een van onze community organizers staat klaar met de hesjes en voetballen om iedereen te verwelkomen en de matchen op te starten. **Let op:** * **Aftrap:** Probeer 10 minuten op voorhand te komen. Zo kunnen we even kennismaken, de teams verdelen en op tijd beginnen. * **Speel veilig:** We houden van een sportieve match, maar veiligheid staat voorop. Houd het vriendelijk—absoluut geen slidings of agressieve tackles. * **Blijven hangen:** We willen echt een leuke community bouwen, dus blijf na het laatste fluotsignaal gerust nog even hangen om gezellig na te praten! There’s no league drama here—just a fast-paced workout, good football, and a chance to meet some awesome people in the area. One of our community organizers will be there with the bibs and footballs, ready to welcome you and get the games going. **Please Note:** * **Kickoff:** Try to arrive 10 minutes early so we can catch up, mix into teams, and start on time. * **Play Safe:** We love a competitive game, but we value our safety more. Keep it friendly—no sliding or aggressive tackles. * **Hang Out:** We’re all about building real friendships, so stick around after the final whistle to chat and get to know everyone. If you have a ball, please bring it... Let's gather at the Parc du Cinquantenaire close to the Tour de Tournai (https://goo.gl/maps/RsxFtTJydq92) and organize a *low-level* football match on the grass. Unless it rains badly as we're about to play, the game is on. Players of any age, weight, sex and size are allowed. Come as you are, at any time after 4pm. IMPORTANT REMINDER -- As Shitty Players, we don't bite or growl when someone misses the ball. We don't do penalties or yellow cards because we're so gentle we don't need them. We vaguely know of the existence of other rules like off-side but we'd rather ignore them than argue about them. We may or may not keep track of the score: this is a game where everyone wins. To help build the Team, come with 2 t-shirts white and black (or similar colors: light grey and dark blue etc). Beer session will follow on the grass, for those who survive till the end. **First time comers** Please make sure to read the rules and contact the organizer before! Otherwise you will be moved to waiting list. Apologies for inconvenience but we have to do it to avoid no-shows. **Games format.** 95% are double games (unless someone needs a break), typically 4 people play together 2 sets and then mix with players from other fields. We play with plastic shuttles - Yonex Mavis 2000 (which are provided). **Registration** If it's your first time, please send a private message to the host to confirm. No-shows are taken quite seriously because they unbalance the games a lot. Also once you register please keep an eye on you private messages, in case we need to contact you. **Players level** Having players with much less experience often unbalances the game making it much less interesting for more experienced players. We still try to be welcoming. As a rule of thumb, if you know what a "clear" is, you are welcome to join. (Note that on Sundays the attitude is a bit more relaxed than on Wednesdays, it's the weekend after all ;) ) Otherwise, feel free to get in touch with me (Timur) and we can see if we can arrange so you and existing players can have good experience playing. **Price and payments** The price of participation is EUR 8.95. Payment is on-site in cash, or via payconiq. Info provided during or shortly after the event. **Cancelations and no-shows** * Switches and cancellations are free of charge if done more than 50 hours before the start of the matches * If you cancel within the 50-hour window before the event starts, you will be placed on the wait-list for the next week's event, whether or not a replacement is found. If no replacement is secured, you'll still need to cover your share of the costs.
