Hey members, come join us for this lovely evening sunset walk with your SG Hiking friends. It is a scenic stroll to enjoy the beautiful Park Connectors alongside the rivers and reservoirs. From the nice lookout bridges at Yishun/Lower Seletar, we'll walk through a tunnel along the Springleaf PCN river to Springleaf Nature Park and continue to Rocket Tower at Upper Seletar Reservoir to enjoy the breathtaking sunset. Thereafter, we'll continue with a Food Tour to check out the nice food & eateries along Springleaf row of shop-houses for dinner/ drinks (optional) eg. the famous Ampang Yong Tau Foo, Springleaf Prata etc. beside the Springleaf Mrt Station. Most importantly, this event is a good opportunity for you to catch up, meet up and get to know more SG Hiking friends. As this is a free event and slots are limited, please RSVP early. Younkin Branch Library (Ashville) meeting space is now reserved for any and all interested in or enthused by playing a game of chess. The second Thursday of each month, 6:00pm to 7:50pm. First gathering is Thursday, May 11th. No fees. Chess sets provided; however, you may bring your own if you wish.
