Fun & easy way to play more tennis (please read event description for details)
We’re still working to get more people into these Meetups, but our goal is to give PlayYourCourt members a few social tennis outings each week in addition to your practice sessions and Challenge League matches. These Meetups are co-ed, super laid back, and all skill levels are welcome. Post your skill level and a suggested court in the comments section so we can round up as many players as we can for some tennis fun! Also, if you’re looking to meet new practice partners or play some matches and you aren’t already in the PlayYourCourt Community, you can go here to see what we’re all about and sign up: https://www.playyourcourt.com/tennis-community/toronto-ON/meetup/ If you love tennis, we’d love to have you! Be sure and watch the quick video that explains how everything works. Happy hitting! - Scott

Community Singing & Song Circle with Vie — Your Voice Belongs!
Community Singing & Song Circle with Vie — Your Voice Belongs!
**Every Voice Belongs! Community, Wellbeing & Joy Song Circle** Join a circle where singing is simple, welcoming, and joyful — and every single voice belongs, especially yours. This is not a choir. Not a performance. Not just for singers. This is a community gathering rooted in the powerful act of singing together — the way humans have always come together to connect, heal, and belong. Songs are taught by ear in call-and-response style. You just repeat what you hear. No sheet music. No experience needed. You will be singing within minutes of walking in. *** **Who is this for?** * Shower singers, hummers, and those who have always wanted to sing * Families, parents, children, grandparents — all ages and backgrounds * All humans regardless of gender identity or experience * Especially the ones who say "I am not a singer" *** **What will you experience?** * Call-and-response singing — simple, accessible, joyful * A space to express yourself freely and feel genuinely seen * Community, belonging, and stress relief backed by science * Hot tea, snacks, toys and art supplies for the kids *** **The science backs it up:** Community singing is now being prescribed for mental health in the UK and Canada. A British Journal of Psychiatry study found 76% of moms recovered from postpartum depression through community singing — compared to 50% with conventional treatment. Because when voices come together, cortisol drops, oxytocin rises, and isolation lifts. *** **See what it actually feels like:** 👉 [www.communitysingingwithvie.ca/gallery](http://www.communitysingingwithvie.ca/gallery) *** **About Vie:** Vie is an expressive arts therapist in training and international song circle leader whose work spans borders and communities — including ongoing circles at Wellspring Cancer Support. Her approach is rooted in trauma awareness and her belief is simple — every voice matters not because it is perfect, but because it is real. *** **Pay what is generous and affordable for you.** Suggested donation $15–$30. No one is ever turned away. *** 📍 Woodhall Park Retirement Village\, 10250 Kennedy Rd N\, Brampton 📅 June 7\, 2026 \| 4:00 – 5:30 PM 🌐 [www.communitysingingwithvie.ca/events](http://www.communitysingingwithvie.ca/events)
