**Meeting at 11:20 on Saturday at the Laima shop & Ticket Offices area of the central railway station. We are taking the 11:38 train to Skulte, and will get off at Vecaķi. Please arrange for your own ticket.** You might have seen recent photos of the frozen seaside and the famous Lady Kathleen / Lady Cotlin shipwreck near the Mangaļsala Pier. On this daytrip we will venture out to Vecaķi and walk by the seaside to the Mangaļsala Pier. **The path will most likely be frozen and slippery.** If possible and safe, we will get close to the shipwreck as well. **Approaching the shipwreck might be unsafe and it is your own responsibility.** The weather is expected to be cold and appropriate clothing and bringing hot drinks are advised. The walking distance is about 12 km from the Vecaķi train station to the Pier and then to the terminal of Bus 24. We will take Bus 24 to return to the centre. Everyone is welcome to join. All within a single game night. We play story games like Fiasco, Kingdom, Polaris and Microscope that encourage everyone at the table to participate creatively. We also have one-shots of indie, OSR, and narrative-focused RPGs such as Apocalypse World, Dread, Lady Blackbird, and Old School Essentials! Everybody's welcome! It doesn't matter if you've never tried story games before or never played roleplaying games at all! We’re still working to get more people into these Meetups, but our goal is to give PlayYourCourt members a few social tennis outings each week in addition to your practice sessions and Challenge League matches. These Meetups are co-ed, super laid back, and all skill levels are welcome. Post your skill level and a suggested court in the comments section so we can round up as many players as we can for some tennis fun! The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~$20 per person. Soft drink refills are $1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes. We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind. Thank you for your continued commitment to providing a fun and welcoming space to veteran, newbie, and rookie gamers in the Columbus area. Parking can be challenging. There is a parking lot behind the neighboring Mexican restaurant that is free and easy to walk from but it's a bit hidden.

Columbus Code & Coffee is an inclusive, informal co-working session. People of all skill levels attend, and we love it that way. Many people (optionally) bring projects to work on, and many other people (optionally) socialize the entire time.
