🩸 Blood on the Clocktower – London Bridge & Bermondsey (Traitors-Style Game)
Love *The Traitors*? Enjoy murder mysteries, psychology, or board games with a twist?
Join your host, Matt, for an evening of **Blood on the Clocktower** — a thrilling, live-hosted social deduction game full of strategy, suspicion and dramatic reveals.
***
## **🔎 What Is Blood on the Clocktower?**
Blood on the Clocktower is a game of murder and mystery, lies and logic, deduction and deception.
Each player is secretly assigned a unique role on either the **Good** or **Evil** team — and every role has a special ability.
* The **Good team** must work together, share information and identify the Demon.
* The **Evil team** will sow distrust, manipulate conversations and eliminate players under the cover of night.
Expect intense discussions, clever bluffs, unexpected alliances and plenty of laughs along the way. No two games are ever the same.
***
## **🎭 Fully Hosted & Beginner-Friendly**
Your Storyteller for the evening is Matt, who has been playing and running Blood on the Clocktower for over four years.
He’ll:
* Clearly explain all the rules before you start
* Guide the game throughout
* Make sure everyone feels comfortable
* Keep things moving and fun
Never played before? No problem at all. Beginners are very welcome.
## **📍Where to find us**
You'll find us at one of Time Out's Top 20 London breweries, the Hiver Taproom. The games takes place in their tasting room - the perfect location for an evening of gaming!
***
## **👥 Who Should Come?**
This event is perfect for:
* Fans of social deduction games
* Murder mystery lovers
* Board game enthusiasts
* Strategic thinkers
* Friendly chaos-makers
* Solo attendees looking to meet new people
You don’t need to bring a team — many people attend solo, and the game naturally encourages interaction.
***
## **⏳ What to Expect**
* Duration: Around 1.5–2 hours
* Group size: Typically 8–15 players
* Atmosphere: Engaging, dramatic, friendly and inclusive
* Experience level: Open to all
***
## **🎲 Why You’ll Love It**
If you enjoy reading people, spotting lies, forming alliances and making bold accusations (all in good fun), this is the game for you.
Whether you're ultra-competitive or just here for a great social night, you'll leave with stories to tell.
***
RSVP now and join us for a night of suspicion, strategy and serious fun.
Will you save the town… or get away with murder?

Backgammon at Gest on 22 March, Euston Sq St. Social Dinner n Drinks - 20pc off
Date/Time: Sunday 15 March 2026, 3 – 8pm (and likely a few hours beyond!)
20% off food and drink for our group
First-timers: please see notes below on the Meetup fee, bringing boards, etc ☺️
Dear Backgammon Lovers,
A big thank you to Lydia for covering backgammon last Sunday.
We’re delighted to announce our gathering in the warmth of the Gest Restaurant, by Euston Square.
Gest has become a favourite spot for our lively and friendly backgammon gatherings, offering us more space and a relaxed atmosphere, with warm and welcoming staff.
Social Backgammon
Whether you’re a seasoned player or completely new, everyone’s welcome. Our Sunday afternoon offers a mix of friendly competition, laughter and the occasional lucky double six. Add alongside this, the food, drinks and easy conversation, and you’ve got the makings of a relaxed afternoon rolling dice into a fun evening.
20% off food and drink
In order for us to be at Gest, we must each order at least one drink, possibly two, and if possible one of their meals - I can highly recommend their chicken burger. This will help us to maintain such a generous deal in a comfortable atmosphere.
Gest has generously offered our group 20% off food and drink for this event.
About Our Backgammon Group
Our group started in June 2015 and has now run more than 400 official meetups plus over 200 informal gatherings. With just over 2,000 members, we’re the largest backgammon group in the UK, and we're known for our warmth, humour and friendliness. We typically meet fortnightly on Sundays, with around twenty or so regulars along with new players each time.
Everyone is welcome, whatever your level.
Dinner, drinks and playing time
We usually sit down for a relaxed group meal around 6pm, but you’re free to order whenever it suits you. Many people arrive early, stay late, and dip in and out of games between food and drinks.
RSVP
Please RSVP as soon as you can, as it really helps with planning, especially at this popular venue.
Bring your own board
If you have a backgammon board, please bring it. If you don’t, just post a note on the Meetup page or message me and we’ll match you up. It’s always fun to see the variety of boards people bring along.
Meetup fee
£4 per person. This small contribution helps pay Meetup, cover tip, admin, hosting and other organisational costs that keep the group running smoothly.
Etiquette
Let’s keep things friendly and respectful over the board, and please thank the lovely Gest staff for hosting us. If anything crops up during the event, just have a quiet word with me.
Backgammon rules
We play under international backgammon tournament rules, with one or two minor exceptions. Full details are on our Meetup page.
Contact
If you need help finding the venue or have any questions, call or text me on 07956 263451.
Please avoid sending Meetup messages within two hours of start time, as they may not be seen in time.
Looking forward to rolling dice and sharing another brilliant Sunday with you all – and to celebrating the New Year at Gest for the fifth time.
Best wishes,
Chris Sattaur 🤗

In-Person Event: The Answers to Depression & Anxiety
This is an in-person meeting. At this meeting you will get answers to depression and anxiety. Find out the source of them and how to get rid of them.
Did you know that unwanted emotions like anxiety, depression, unhappiness, loneliness, hopelessness, anger, fear, or feelings of irritation don’t just fall on you for no reason. They are not random occurrences that simply happen to people's minds. They are definitely not due to a chemical imbalance in your brain from some nebulous chemical reaction "by chance".
Your negative emotions are the symptoms of the painful experiences that you have which are not healed, and which are still affecting you.
The effects of these painful experiences are exacerbated by the pressures or difficulties of the other problems in your life.
Come to our Meetup, where we can introduce you to some of the knowledge, tools and techniques of the breakthroughs in the field of the mind that we can apply to this ever important area of life.
Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there.
This group is created by the Hubbard Dianetics Foundation of Central Ohio and Church of Scientology of Central Ohio.
