Be-weekly lessons with experienced practitioner Ingrid Wenger. We want to consciously experience movement together and give our bodies the attention they need. Everyone participates according to their abilities – together, yet each at their own pace. We work with balls, bands, music, but above all with our imagination and lots of fun. The training is based on the Franklin Method and Karin Gurtner's Slings Myofascial Training. The goal is to increase your physical well-being and open up a new connection to your body. Welcome to the Open Level Play Session. This session takes place every Saturday from 12:15 to 13:45 at the Yonex Badminton Hall Hardbrücke. The number of players on the waitlist one week in advance determines the number of courts booked. If you are on the waitlist but can no longer attend, please remove yourself as early as possible. Open to players of all skill levels. This session is for doubles with a relaxed and social focus. Ideal for casual play, improvement and meeting new players. Payment can be made via TWINT after the session.

In this course, you’ll learn traditional and modern rhythms on djembes and doundouns (bass drums and bells) — all in a fun, structured, and hands-on way. We’ll explore the essentials of rhythm and groove, from understanding pulse, beat, and cycle to experiencing how different instruments interact in an ensemble. You’ll play, listen, improvise, and even create your own arrangements together with the group. Body percussion exercises help you *feel* rhythm from head to toe, while guided theory inputs deepen your understanding of African musical structures — intros, solos, signals, and more. Our holistic approach connects body, mind, and soul. Through intuitive rhythm games, easy-to-follow exercises, and attention to technique, you’ll build coordination, confidence, and a relaxed, flowing playing style. Broad St., Columbus 43215** WHAT IS CONTRA DANCING? Picture the Grand Ball scenes like you’ve seen in period films such as “Pride and Prejudice”, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude. THAT’s Contra Dancing! Wear cool and comfortable clothes (you will get warm) and clean shoes that won't mark up our nice wood floor. Be sure to come for the beginner's lesson from 7:30 - 8:00, followed by dancing 8:00 - 10:30. All dances are taught; we will help you learn! Beginners always welcome, no need to bring a partner.
