Discussions on the craft of good storytelling are a big part of the evening. We sometimes 'break' stories with writers - arming them with index cards, working with them to identify key moments in their script, sharpen character objectives, and seek greater conflict to increase stakes in the story. Our goal is to incubate new work, and help writers take their script to the next draft (and beyond). I have some extra pickle ball paddles and balls if you don’t have one. Definitely bring your own paddle if you have one and bring some balls if you have them.
