## DNA. presents: "CREATIVE WRITING" In this workshop, You will learn a method that can help You to strengthen Your access to Your creativity, write more, write better and get back into a flow state in which new ideas emerge. ‍ ##### HOURGLASS METHOD Lena will guide You through the three phases of her hourglass method, which consist of different writing exercises, and explain the background to them. In addition to stories and essays, she writes and performs rap songs and has recently started working as a freelance writer. She has also completed certified training in storytelling and author consulting. In her Hourglass Method, Lena combines knowledge from her education and interest in creative processes in the brain with ideas based on her own experience as an artist. Dear friends, Thank you again for the previous session. Next Wednesday we continue with "Thomas the Obscure". Last time we were with Thomas who read. We asked what happens in that strange moment of reading. What kind of presence arises there, and where it remains once the reading withdraws. This time we will look briefly at Jacques Lacan’s reading of the text. The reader is no longer simply the one who sees. The words begin to look back. Something in the image acquires a strange life and places the reader inside its field. As before, we read passages together and follow the text slowly. Side fragments will be provided. No prior knowledge required, only patience with the text. Immer sind es Themen, die uns gefallen, die wir besonders interessant, wichtig oder manchmal auch richtig schlecht finden. Gemeinsam versuchen wir die Position der Autor*in, den Stil und die Argumentationsstruktur zu verstehen. Dazu diskutieren wir über das, was wir verstehen, welche Meinung wir zu dem Thema haben oder welche Fragen offen bleiben.

Der Kurs richtet sich an interessierte Menschen mit einem B2-Niveau (oder so ähnlich), die Lust haben sich weiter mit der deutschen Sprache zu beschäftigen und ihren Wortschatz zu erweitern.

On the International Day of Poetry, we’re meeting in the Rosengarten at Bürgerpark Pankow to write and share poetry together — in a simple, grounded way. No stage. No microphone. No pressure. Ditch the old book club, where everyone has to read the same book...this is better! It works like this: Bring your own book. Come chat, have some tea or coffee, get to know your neighbors. Then we quietly read together, side by side, for about one hour, each one reading their own book, and afterwards we talk with each other about what we are reading. The topic for March is "Our Bodies, Ourselves" Speak Easy: true stories, told live. The idea is simple: an audience, an open microphone, and great stories. Hilarious, gripping, poignant- it's up to you. Audiences are invited to come to listen or come to tell as folks from all corners of Columbus offer their stories live on stage! Held at Wild Goose Creative's warm, intimate space, this night of tales occurs on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Doors open at 6:30 pm, show starts at 7:00 pm. Please arrive early if you want to tell, as we generally only have room for a limited number of tellers, and the sign-up sheet has a tendency to fill up fast.
