Centro Cultural Capoeira Água de Beber (CECAB) – Capoeira Água de Beber Cultural Centre – is a non-profit organization, founded officially in January 2002. Its pivot activity is Capoeira (classes, rodas, workshops, public presentations, cultural events, performances), however it aggregates other cultural manifestations as: samba de roda, maculelê, frevo, ciranda, dança do coco, dança afro, puxada de rede, craftworks workshops of making and playing music instruments, video projections, movies, lectures about relevant cultural topics and matters related to enforcement of citizenship. All the activities realized through CECAB are designated to execution of social responsibility projects, further on the sportive, cultural and artistic activities through the realization of the shows, presentations and events related to Capoeira and Brazilian culture.

\*\*Each week we typically have 2-3 spots open to players from this app. This is why you will only see 2-3 attending. The others are regulars and we coordinate in a private WhatsApp group\*\* We play a 6v6 game every Wednesday @ 8:00PM in SportsCo, Dublin 4. The pitch we use is spacious an ideal for 6v6 (ball/all bibs provided). To encourage passing and flowing football, goals can only be scored from inside the penalty area. Games are played in a friendly atmosphere and slide tackles are prohibited. We don't have stick keepers and use a last-man back policy. There is a core group of regular players who have played with us for years but we also invite a handful of pickup players to play from this app. If pickup players like the vibe they might have the option to subscribe on a longer-term basis. This game has been running on the same pitch for over a decade. The games are good quality with good technical players and always played in a nice, competitive atmosphere.

This meeting will be a little different and a lot more exciting. We are asking everyone to along a motion to debate. It can be serious, political, philosophical, light-hearted, or completely creative. Whether it’s “This House Would Ban Social Media for Under 16s” or “This House Believes Pineapple Belongs on Pizza,” we want to hear your ideas! The more varied and imaginative the motions, the better the debates will be. On the day, we’ll be holding **1-on-1 debates for each motion**. That means every idea gets the spotlight, and every speaker gets the opportunity to go head-to-head in a focused, fast-paced exchange of arguments. This format is perfect for developing quick thinking, structured reasoning, and confident delivery. Debating isn’t just about winning an argument it’s about learning how to communicate clearly, think critically, and respond under pressure. These are skills that help in exams, university interviews, job applications, and everyday life.
