Unhappily Ever After

Told with warmth, wit, and a healthy dose of self-awareness, the show explores the highs and lows of chasing a love story and asks the question: what if not getting the fairy tale is actually fine? Performed by an incredible cast of 15 professional, international singers, *Unhappily Ever After* is a true showcase of musical theatre talent. This is big voices, sharp storytelling, and embittered love ballads at their best, all delivered in an intimate cabaret setting. Featuring songs from *Waitress*, *Legally Blonde*, *Follies*, *The Last Five Years*, *A Chorus Line*, *Falsettos*, and many more, the show uses iconic musical numbers to help you celebrate Valentine's Day in a whole new way. Perfect for couples, friends, the happily single, the freshly heartbroken, or anyone who enjoys laughing at love while still believing in it (a little bit), *Unhappily Ever After* is a Valentine's show with heart, humour, and zero pressure to believe in happily ever after. Because sometimes, unhappily ever after is exactly where the good stuff starts. **Info om cast og produktion:** Host: Rachel Kador Dramaturg: Lasse Holmelund Jarbøl Producent: Maria Højrup Jørgensen Pianist: Ethan Nowack **Cast:** Anna Christine Bauer Clara Amalie Singerholm Christiansen Evan Kilgore Freya Uldal Jana María Guðmundsdóttir Jasper Thomas Kristen Flanagan Kristian Husted Melissa Bayern Olivia Jang Pablo Lara Rachel Kador Roger William Le Blanc Jr. Trine Marie Wisborg **About Cph Musicals:** CPH Musicals was founded in 2022 with the mission of promoting musical theatre and musicals in both Danish and English, so that more people can enjoy high-quality musical experiences. Winter camping! 1,5 Days + 1 Night - A 35 KM hike in Sweden
Winter camping! 1,5 Days + 1 Night - A 35 KM hike in Sweden
Hey Randoms, This is your chance to try sleeping outdoors in the cold season! 11 KM on Friday Night - night hiking is fun! 24 KM on Saturday. It's an after-work-on-a-Friday type of event, with a short hike 11 KM Friday night and around 24 KM on Saturday. We'll hit the start of the trail in Röstånga just after 18:00 and hike in the dark. A good light source is going to be **very** important here - please bring that. Headlamp recommended. As usual, you need to be self-supported: gear, nutrition, etc. And this time of year it's good to pay extra attention to the comfort temp rating of your sleeping bag and the R-Value of your sleeping pad. We'll pass by several water resupply options along the way, so you'll probably be OK with packing 2 liters of water, depending on personal preferences and needs. We may our may not find a shelter. It's not a sure thing, so please bring your tent, hammock, tarp - whichever you prefer. And it could be too wet for a campfire, so you probably don't want to rely too much on that for cooking. Saturday is a hike around Söderåsen National park, with some fun spots along the way, and we'll return to Röstånga mid to late afternoon - the trip back to CPH is around 2 hours. The weather this time of year can be a little rough, and it's usually wet and cold, so please make sure to dress accordingly and pack waterproof, especially your sleeping bag. Get your train/bus ticket from Skånetrafiken - they have a decent mobile app, recommended. Destination: Röstånga bus station.

Cozy social Saturday afternoon run/jog/walk
Cozy social Saturday afternoon run/jog/walk
Come join us for an afternoon run/jog/walk. Today is our Valentine's run. Some might celebrate carnival, vinter break, Fastalavn, but your harriettes have decided to arrange a Valentine's run for you. If you feel like it wear Valentine outfit as a fun gesture. We are not a typical running club, so please read about the concept in “about us”. How it works: we don’t know in advance where the trail will go, but we know it will be fun! A member of the club, the 'hare', sets a trail, usually marked with flour. The rest of us, the 'pack', follows the hare's 'scent', i.e., the marks. There will be a 8-10 km trail for runners with shortcuts down to 5-6 km for walkers and those who need a slower pace. We have no set pace - run/walk as slow or as fast as you'd like. After the run we enjoy some refreshments and socialize. Come a few minutes before the start so that you can say hi and leave your bag in a designated bag car before we set off at 14:30. Don’t worry if there are few registrations on Meetup. We have existed for 44 years, and a lot of our members (anywhere from 20 to 50 people) just show up. Four-legged friends are welcome! We never cancel. See you there!

Shut Up & Write!™ Copenhagen
Shut Up & Write!™ Copenhagen
Join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at our Copenhagen Shut Up & Write! sessions. Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, résumé, melody, poem, or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done. SCHEDULE: - 15 minutes of hellos and getting settled; maybe some quick intros. - Then, the timer starts! : writing for 1 hour. - After the hour is up... chat / take off / keep writing, if you're on a roll. OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING happens once the hour of writing is complete. Writing can be very solitary... connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing. It's best to be on time, but BEING LATE IS ALSO OKAY: just show up and get settled, then check in with us after the session. (We’ll be the ones with the small Shut Up & Write! sign.) If you were on time, please be willing to make room for the friendly latecomer. What Should I Bring? Whatever you need to be able to write! Bring earbuds/earplugs if you want to block the cafe’s overhead music or the occasional conversation by other patrons.

Bad Girls Book Club February 2026
Bad Girls Book Club February 2026
**Our February novel is: Julia by Sandra Newman** **This month is a classic, dystopian, fiction, literary fiction, women’s fiction, and science fiction novel. The book is 394 pages in print and 14 hours and 20 minutes on audiobook.** **An imaginative, feminist, and brilliantly relevant-to-today retelling of Orwell’s 1984, from the point of view of Winston Smith’s lover, Julia, by critically acclaimed novelist Sandra Newman.** Julia Worthing is a mechanic, working in the Fiction Department at the Ministry of Truth. It’s 1984, and Britain (now called Airstrip One) has long been absorbed into the larger trans-Atlantic nation of Oceania. Oceania has been at war for as long as anyone can remember, and is ruled by an ultra-totalitarian Party, whose leader is a quasi-mythical figure called Big Brother. In short, everything about this world is as it is in Orwell’s 1984. All her life, Julia has known only Oceania, and, until she meets Winston Smith, she has never imagined anything else. She is an ideal citizen: cheerfully cynical, always ready with a bribe, piously repeating every political slogan while believing in nothing. She routinely breaks the rules, but also collaborates with the regime when necessary. Everyone likes Julia. Then one day she finds herself walking toward Winston Smith in a corridor and impulsively slips him a note, setting in motion the devastating, unforgettable events of the classic story. Julia takes us on a surprising journey through Orwell’s now-iconic dystopia, with twists that reveal unexpected sides not only to Julia, but to other familiar figures in the 1984 universe. This unique perspective lays bare our own world in haunting and provocative ways, just as the original did almost seventy-five years ago.

Calling all founders, CEOs, lawyers, doctors, and entrepreneurs to join our special *Founder Edition* of Sip & Read meetup event. Let's sip on fine wine and discuss our first book **The 5AM Club- Own Your Morning Elevate Your Life, by Robin Sharma**. We will pair this book with our favorite wine at **Wine on High** and engage in thought-provoking discussions on startup businesses and entrepreneurship, and network with like-minded individuals in a cozy book club setting. Come prepared to discuss this month's book. At the end of each book club meeting, we will take next book and venue suggestions from the participants for the next meeting. Whether you are a book lover, women entrepreneur, or a content creator, this event is perfect for sharing ideas and insights with other funders and founders in the entrepreneurial world. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to connect, learn, and grow together. Sign up now to reserve your spot! *Fun fact! This meetup was established in 2015 and had over 1,000 members. I had to shut down operations while attending law school, but we're back!!*
