**Are you someone who hasn't painted for a long time and you'd like to try it out once again?** We are an international group of people who come together every Thursday evening after a long workday to learn painting and spend quality time together with drinks and snacks. **It doesn't matter why or what you want to make here. You are welcome!** Everyone works on different paintings. Your art lesson will be personalised to your level. Most of us are beginners with also people more experienced in mixed age group above 16 years old. Our teacher Secil will guide you at every step of your painting. There are many art lessons consisting of paintings of famous artists and artworks also different subjects from landscapes to portraiture, still life etc. You can consult with the teacher about what to paint or paint from the pictures you select. Maki-e is a traditional Japanese lacquer decoration technique. Techiniques are involved drawing pictures, patterns, and letters on the surface of lacquerware using lacquer, and then sprinkling and fixing metal powder, such as gold or silver, onto the surface. In addition to his comics, Santoro has been an influential voice in comics education and criticism, co-founding the magazine *ComicsComics* and creating the **Santoro Correspondence Course for Comic Book Makers**, which has helped train and inspire a new generation of cartoonists. Afterwards, we will have time to work on our individual art projects, hang out, and if anyone is interested in feedback on their work, there will be time for that as well.
