The tradition is to eat this cake for Epiphany day - and actually for the whole month of January. More than eating a great cake, it is about to "tirer les rois". In the iconic cake, there is a charm (originally a bean) in and the one who gets it gets the crown, and then gets luck for the year! Wanna experience it? Join us chez Antoinette, a French cafe in Covent Garden! We will talk a bit about this tradition, we will eat a piece of cake and we will chat all in French. Home to the French Embassy and the Lycée Charles de Gaulle, South Kensington has become famous as the contemporary ‘French area’ of London, an area teeming with French landmarks, buildings and history. In subsequent classes we will verify and hone our talents with activities and discussion. These are hands-on workshops and participation is expected. The goal of our series will be to develop expertise in areas of particular interest such as mediumship, channeling, divination, healing and, etc..
