Product Tank BCN 💥 Build with AI: The Lovable Hackathon
Product Tank BCN 💥 Build with AI: The Lovable Hackathon
ProductTank Barcelona community! TLDR; **bring your laptop!** Ready to build something amazing without writing a single line of code? Join us for an AI-powered hackathon where you’ll create an app using **Lovable** – the no-code platform that turns plain prompts into real products. This is a hands-on excuse to meet other product people, experiment with AI, and see what happens when you build in small groups. How it works: * We’ll form small AI building groups – no need to come with a team. * Each group will collaborate to build an app and share it at the end - **laptop required, one per team**. * The product brief will be revealed at the start – no prep required! * All Lovable credits are covered – no fees involved. * No coding or AI experience needed. This is beginner-friendly and product-minded. Since spots are limited, please RSVP **only if you’re sure you can commit**. In particular, if you’ve volunteered to bring a laptop, we’re counting on you. This will be an interactive, high-energy event – not a sit-down lecture. 📍 **Location:** eDreams ODIGEO, Barcelona 🕒 **Time:** Doors open at 6:30 PM \| Event starts at 6:45 PM Don’t forget to bring a valid ID to enter the venue. Expected agenda: * **6:30pm - Open door** * **6:45pm - 7:00pm – Welcome + Hackathon brief** * **7:00pm - 7:45pm – Team pairings + Build time** * **7:45pm - 8:00pm – Finalist demo, voting and prizes** * **8:00pm onwards – Pizza & Drinks for networking** Come for the build. Stay for the people. This is networking, just with a bit of AI chaos in between.✨

Transforming scientific literature into discovery
Transforming scientific literature into discovery
At InnoIT Consulting, we are delighted to invite you to our upcoming meetup, organized in collaboration with Sony AI, on **Wednesday, February 25th.** 🎙️*Transforming scientific literature into discovery at Sony AI* The speaker will be **[Miquel Ferrer](https://www.linkedin.com/in/miquel-ferrer-5a97651/)** (ML/AI Engineer at Sony AI). **SUMMARY** In this talk we will gain insight into how **AI can act as a bridge across domains**, transforming the overwhelming scale of modern research into a **proactive engine for discovery**. In an era where **thousands of papers are published daily**, even the most specialized experts struggle to stay afloat. However, the sheer volume of global research represents more than a management challenge—it is a **massive, untapped resource for discovery**. In this session, we will explore how **AI can transform the vast body of scientific literature** into an **interconnected system of concepts and entities**. Moving beyond simple search and efficiency, we discuss how modeling the **evolution of knowledge** enables us to uncover **“scientifically plausible links”**—**hidden connections across domains**, such as **biology and medicine**, that are supported by data but **have not yet been articulated in print**. By leveraging AI to **bridge these silos**, we can move from **managing what is known** to **predicting the next frontier of scientific breakthroughs**. **This event is for you if you’re in:** AI/ML, Data & Analytics, NLP/LLMs, Knowledge Graphs/Ontologies, Search/IR, MLOps, or Data Engineering and want to turn research into actionable discovery. With time for a dynamic **Q&A session and, of course, our networking with food 🍕 and drinks 🍻.** **👥 Do you want to come along?** Share this invitation with all your contacts, or click the "share" button below. **WHEN:** Wednesday, February 25th at 6:30 PM **WHERE:** Oficinas InnoIT Consulting, [C/ Diputació, 280, Bajos 2ª, 08009, Barcelona](https://maps.app.goo.gl/zC6Sf2jUogxauX317) **LANGUAGE:** English 📝**Join our [newsletter](https://www.inno-it.es/newsletter/)!** Don't miss out on upcoming events, exciting news and special job offers. *InnoIT Consulting, Sony AI*

Pura Vida y Filosofia
Pura Vida! In this session, we’ll explore how GitHub Spec-Kit enables teams to treat specifications as first-class artifacts—living documents that drive architecture, implementation, and verification. You’ll learn how Spec-Kit helps teams clearly express intent using structured, version-controlled specs that live alongside code. We’ll walk through a practical workflow that starts with defining system behavior and constraints, then progressively refines those specs into testable, automatable outcomes. Along the way, we’ll show how specs can reduce ambiguity, improve cross-functional collaboration, and make design decisions explicit before a single line of production code is written. This talk will cover: --What spec-driven development is (and what it isn’t) --How GitHub Spec-Kit fits into modern developer workflows --Using specs to align product, engineering, and AI-assisted development --Real-world examples of turning specs into implementations with confidence Whether you’re building greenfield systems, integrating AI into your stack, or trying to reduce costly rework, spec-driven development offers a scalable way to move faster without sacrificing clarity. Attendees will leave with concrete patterns and a clear mental model for adopting GitHub Spec-Kit in their own projects. **YouTube Link** TBA
