Talks (subject to updates...): **"Putting AI Agents into Humanoid Robots" - Yip Jia Qi** Since Jia Qi last talked at our meetup in 2023, he has been working at Menlo Research - who have recently open-sourced the Asimov humanoid robot (https://asimov.inc/diy-kit). In his talk, Jia Qi will talk about what has already been accomplished, and outline Menlo's (even more ambitious) goals. **"World [Action] Models" - Martin Andrews** Martin will be giving a high-level description of the World Model landscape (including JEPA) while also comparing them to other approaches for robotics applications. **FOOD UPDATE :** Google has told us that **there WILL BE** pizza at the event \-\-\- Talks will start at 7:10pm (entry at 6:45pm) and end at around 9:00pm, at which point attendees can come up to the front for a bit of a chat with each other, and the speakers. Omnipresent Atheists endorses the mission of the Secular Coalition for America ( http://secular.org ). This group has been meeting every Tuesday evening for over a decade.
