The Sobell Badminton club Sundays start from 1.30pm, finishing at 3.30pm. On the Sunday session we have a coach so beginners should attend this session.All bookings & payments via the better UK app ( OR this link: https://www.better.org.uk/leisure-centre/london/islington/sobell/sobell-badminton) when possible and IN ADVANCE. £7.30 for members and £11.15 for non-members. Once you have installed the Better App (choose Sobell as the default sport centre) and from the homepage : go via “Book activities”--> "Adult group sessions"--> choose the required date (of a Friday or Sunday session) to book a place!

The session is aimed at beginners and intermediate level players who have either never played tennis previously or would like to improve on their game. Join our 2 hours session which will consist of warm up followed by drills focusing on technical skill coaching and will include Forehand / Backhand / Volley and Serve. Finally you get to play each other refining your skills and techniques and ultimately having fun. Rackets can be borrowed please let me know if you need a racket in advance. You need to make a payment 24 hours before the session. If you cannot attend the session please provide 24 hours notice. Should you wish to cancel. This will allow other players on the waiting list the chance to attend the session. If severe weather conditions prevent the session you will have credit for your next session. If there is less than 6 players unfortunately the session will not go ahead. With March now here, we're hugely excited to be hosting our latest Social Pub Quiz, exclusively for 20s and 30s.** Yep that's right, every month we host latest our very special creative and quirky pub quiz in Central London, just for our community. And as always, our crack team of quizmasters have concocted a range of entertaining and social quiz rounds, each designed to challenge your wit and intelligence with a range of fun and fascinating questions. And we'll also be throwing in some fun team games designed to test your speed, creativity and teamwork - with previous quizzes featuring everything from crafty challenges, poetry duels to Marmalade Sandwich time trials!
