**L’Eix Fort Pienc ho dona tot per l’Orgull Friki!** Botigues, escenaris i cultura pop al cor del triangle friki ens sumem a la gran celebració del Dia de l’Orgull Friki de Barcelona, una jornada plena d’activitats per a tots els públics al Passeig de Lluís Companys, sota l’Arc de Triomf. Organitzat pel Departament de Joventut de l’Ajuntament de Barcelona, amb la col·laboració d’Eix Fort Pienc i la participació de nombroses entitats frikis de la ciutat, l’esdeveniment omplirà el passeig d’activitats de 12 a 20 h amb un ambient festiu, creatiu i carregat de referències a la cultura pop, el manga, l’anime, la fantasia, els jocs de rol i de taula, el cosplay i molt més. Activitats durant tot el dia Al llarg de la jornada trobaràs una àmplia oferta d’activitats, parades i espais interactius: 🛍️ Botigues especialitzades com Takopá, Dashu, Gameria, Magic BCN, Norma Comics, o Yoomi, amb col·leccionisme, roba, llibres, còmics i merchandising. 🎲 Zones de jocs de taula i de rol, tornejos de Magic, videojocs, photocalls temàtics, signatures de llibres i activitats familiars. 🎬 Exhibicions com la coreografia de Star Wars, lluites amb sabres de llum, i sessions de Random Play Dance de K-pop. 🛡️ Academia Jedi, demostracions de SoftCombat, tallers creatius, espais per a il·lustradores i podcasts en viu. 🧙 Quedada de cosplay, amb personatges de fantasia, manga, ciència-ficció i molt més. Amb el suport d’entitats com StarFans, Eix Jove, SoftCombat Barcelona i moltes altres, el Dia de l’Orgull Friki és molt més que una festa: és un homenatge a la cultura friki com a espai de creativitat, comunitat i expressió lliure. 🎭 Fort Pienc Escena Friki: el nostre escenari friki Des d’Eix Fort Pienc estem encantats de participar en aquesta cita imprescindible amb una edició especial del nostre festival d’arts escèniques: Fort Pienc Escena Friki, la versió temàtica del ja consolidat Fort Pienc Escènik, que organitzem des de 2017. A la tarda dinamitzarem l’escenari principal amb una programació vibrant, plena de creativitat jove i talent local: Siguis mag, Jedi, otaku o aventurer galàctic… aquest diumenge el teu lloc és aquí. Vine amb el teu cosplay, el teu lightsaber o amb la teva passió friki i gaudeix d’un dia èpic al cor de Barcelona! T’hi esperem amb música, dansa, espectacles i una comunitat carregada de creativitat i bon rotllo. *** **[QUÉ ES EL SOFTCOMBAT?](https://youtu.be/Essu82NpRvc)** El Softcombat és una activitat esportiva en la qual, mitjançant armes embuatades (conegudes com boffers), es recreen combats medievals, es practiquen jocs d'equip i s'aprenen moviments marcials de combat. El Rol en Viu consisteix a afegir-li una acció més teatral i dramàtica a aquests enfrontaments. Si t'interessa aprendre a combatre, emular les lluites de les teves pel·lícules favorites, lluitar amb espasa, subjectar un escut, dominar els secrets de l'equilibri de peus o fer fitnes d'un mode diferent; el Softcombat i el Rol en Viu són una activitat que has de provar. **És durant el matí de 11h a 13.30h quan major quantitat de participants es reuneixen. A la tarda, es queda(a vegades) un petit grup, però no es pot garantir la seva presència fins a les 18h, sobretot a l'hivern. Recomanem anar de demà.** *** **REGLES BÀSIQUES PER AL SOFTCOMBAT** **NORMATIVA I SEGURETAT** **la participació en un esdeveniment implica l'acceptació d'aquestes:** Per a garantir la seguretat dels participants, totes les armes alienes a seran testades prèviament, conservant-se el dret a admissió de l'arma o de l'usuari. Com tot esport de contacte, cal anar amb compte i apel·lar sempre al sentit comú i a la companyonia, en inscriure's en la nostra comunitat, el participant o tutors del participant accepten la total responsabilitat de qualsevol mal, lesió, pèrdua... que pugui succeir dins dels entrenaments. **La participació en un esdeveniment implica l'acceptació d'aquestes.** 1. No estan permesos cops **ni al cap ni en els genitals.** 2. **La/s ma/ns** que subjecten l'arma fins a la nina no són blanc vàlid. 3. **No es pot estocar,** només colpejar amb el lateral de l'arma. 4. **Abans de començar** qualsevol enfrontament, cal estendre les armes, procedir a una lleugera salutació mitjançant el xoc entre aquestes. 5. **Cuida del company** amb el qual entrenes. Vigila la seva esquena i advertir-li de forats, arbres, altres persones o altres irregularitats en el terreny. 6. **Abans d'emprar qualsevol propietat aliena**, demana permís al seu propietari. Si algú trenca l'equip d'una altra persona, el propietari pot reclamar una compensació econòmica pels materials. 7. Els **menors de 14 anys** hauran d'anar acompanyats d'un adult responsable. Els menors de 16 anys hauran de portar un document emès per un tutor responsable, eximint de responsabilitat als Organitzadors (o confirmar meetup conforme l'acceptació d'aquestes normes). 8. **L'Organització no es farà responsable** de cap mena de lesió, mal o ferida que pugui succeir durant els entrenaments. 9. Diverteix-te i gaudeix, és un gran esport. 10. **L'organització es reserva el dret a vetar** la participació als qui consideri, sense haver de donar explicacions. Sobretot davant persones que hagin demostrat de manera present o passada un comportament deshonest, vexatori o frau davant l'entitat, els seus membres o equip de direcció. 11. Al final del evento es **muy importante** escanear el **primer QR** de tu hoja para rellenar el formulario con tu: * nombre * número de teléfono * Instagram * correo electrónico * **los tres nombres** de las personas que más te han gustado *(Es buena idea escribir todos los nombres durante las citas y al final tachar todos excepto los 3 que más te gusten.)* En ese formulario también puedes dejar tu feedback para mejorar el evento. Podrás encontrar preguntas para romper el hielo en la mesa que podrás usar si tu deseas para empezar una buena conversación. ### **Rotación** A la señal del anfitrión (campana o gong), **los chicos se mueven** a la siguiente mesa. La rotación es siempre siguiendo el orden de los números o letras que se encontrarán en las diferentes mesas: A,B,C,D,E,F... 1,2,3,4,5,6.... Al llegar a la última letra, se irá hacía la primera. Lo mismo aplica con los números. Los chicos se levantan 30 segundos para tomar notas; las chicas permanecen sentadas. ### **Pausa** No hay pausa general, pero si quieres descansar una ronda de 7 minutos, puedes pedir al anfitrión saltarte una ronda para pedir bebida, comida, ir al baño o relajarte en el jardín. ### **Fin de rondas** Al terminar, normalmente nos reunimos en el jardín para tomar algo. **Pagans on the Patio! Summer/Fall Series** A casual gathering the first Thursday of each month. Time to relax, meet new people, and reconnect with old friends. There is no charge for the event itself and all are welcome but there are a few guidelines: 1. **You are expected to purchase food and/or drink to compensate the Cantina and our server.** 2. **No soliciting. Do not bring samples of your wares or brochures of your services.** 3. **Please respect the spiritual and political views of others that are present. Some trained COUNT volunteers work together once a month at RMH (http://www.rmhc-centralohio.org/volunteer.php) as Housewarmers (usually on the 1st Sunday from 1 – 5 PM). Some schedule other shifts at their convenience. You may try this out with less fuss by following a "Fast track" or go through the normal process. Fast track • Arrange a time to shadow a COUNT volunteer. Call Dave Nohle at 614-268-9558 (cell). • Show up and try it out. • Complete application, etc. later. Normal process • Complete an online application (http://rmhc-centralohio.org/volunteer/). • Attend orientation in advance. • At orientation you will complete forms agreeing to keep family/patient info private and allowing a background check and tour the facility. • Complete one training shift. Daily shifts are: morning 9 AM - 1 PM, afternoon 1 - 5 PM and evening 5 - 9 PM. • Schedule shifts online using the on the RMH scheduling system (http://www.volgistics.com/ex/portal.dll/?FROM=32895). The Ronald McDonald House (RMH) provides housing and meals for families with sick children. The Columbus RMH is the largest in the world with 137 rooms. COUNT has been volunteering there since May 2014. Housewarmers work with RMH guests to provide a home-like environment - greet, assist with family needs, answer phones, give tours, assist with checkin/checkout, prepare guest rooms after checkout, clean facility, laundry, restock supplies and staff the front desk. RMH Housewarmers volunteer at least one four-hour shift a month. All Housewarmers must complete an application and agree to a background check before they can be full fledged volunteers.

The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~20 per person. Soft drink refills are 1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes. We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind. Thank you for your continued commitment to providing a fun and welcoming space to veteran, newbie, and rookie gamers in the Columbus area. Parking can sometimes fill esrly. There is additional parking lot behind the neighboring Mexican restaurant that is free and easy to walk from but it's a bit hidden.
