From Tools to ๐Ÿš€ Teammates: Building & Orchestrating Autonomous AI Agents
An AI mission to Jupiter was supposed to **fail**. There wasnโ€™t enough โ›ฝ fuel. \>\> **[RSVP & Details here](https://www.wix.engineering/ai-agents-from-tools-to-teammates)** << But instead of crashing, the AI agents argued, rejected the plan, and reinvented the mission together... Thatโ€™s the shift happening right now in software engineering: AI agents are evolving from tools into teammates. Join our next Wix Engineering Meetup (**June 15**), to learn from **Dror Arazi** and **Or Goldreich** what it really takes to build and evaluate autonomous AI systems: โœ… Build and orchestrate multi-agent AI systems ๐Ÿ“ Measure AI reliability, reasoning, and decision-making ๐Ÿง  Design AI agents that collaborate instead of just execute ๐Ÿ’ป Prepare for the next era of AI-native software engineering Details and RSVP: [https://www.wix.engineering/ai-agents-from-tools-to-teammates](https://www.wix.engineering/ai-agents-from-tools-to-teammates)

But what actually made it to production? Every year, the Israeli Tech Radar maps what development teams are really using not whatโ€™s trending, but what holds up over time. Join us for the launch of the 2026โ€“27 Israeli Tech Radar, built from hands-on work of Tikalโ€™s developers across the Israeli tech industry, together with contributions from leading companies such as Palo Alto Networks, Redis, Viz.ai and more. To expand and refine the industry picture, the Radar is also based on insights gathered from a wide community survey among development teams. Now in its 10th edition, Tikalโ€™s Tech Radar is built on hands-on experience and real industry insights. Weโ€™ll explore where technologies across Backend, DevOps, Web/Mobile, and AI/ML stand, and whatโ€™s worth trying, starting, keeping, or stopping. **On the agenda:** **18:00โ€“18:30 \| Networking & Snacks** **18:30โ€“19:10 \| Israeli Tech Radar 2026\-27 Launch** Presented by Eitan Masuary, Head of Tech at Tikal. Eitan will present the key trends shaping the ecosystem, alongside findings from this yearโ€™s community survey conducted among development teams. What is actually running in production across AI/ML, Backend, DevOps and Web/Mobile Which technologies gained traction, which stabilized, and which quietly disappeared Including a closer look at how AI is moving from experimentation into real production systems. **19:10โ€“20:00 \| In\-Depth Panel: From Trends to Action** Moderated by Eitan Masuary, Head of Tech at Tikal. A discussion with Tikalโ€™s Tech Leads, exploring the top trends in Backend, DevOps, Web/Mobile and AI/ML (and yes, not only AI!) **Topics weโ€™ll cover:** * Key trends across Backend, DevOps, Web/Mobile and AI/ML * How AI is reshaping each domain, from infrastructure to application architecture * The move from AI experimentation into real production systems * Technologies gaining traction vs. those starting to fade across the stack * How these shifts are changing engineering practices and tech decisions Weโ€™ll also announce the winners of the Tech Radar survey raffle during the event, among participants who completed the survey by May 25th. **Havenโ€™t filled the Radar Survey out yet?** This is your chance to contribute your perspective and be part of this yearโ€™s Radar! >> [Take me to the survey](https://tkl.to/tikal-m-radar-survey-26) See you on the Radar! **Don't forget to complete your registration on our official [Luma event page](https://tkl.to/tikal-m-launch-15-6-26)** **Youโ€™ll receive a confirmation email once your seat is approved.**

Stop Guessing: A Product Person's Guide to AI Adoption
## ๐Ÿค Host Information A co-hosted event by ProductTank Columbus & Women in Product Columbus ๐Ÿ’ก About the Workshop AI adoption is stalling across organizations โ€” not because of a lack of motivation or tools, but because it's fundamentally a behavior design challenge. Whether you're a product manager, on a product team, or just someone trying to get AI to actually stick at work, you'll leave with a clear picture of what's worth focusing on, what to ignore, and how to drive real, sustained adoption โ€” no guesswork required. ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ What to Bring Laptop: Fully charged and ready to go. Smart Search + AI: An Outcome-Driven Journey from IDP to a Suite of AI
Smart Search + AI: An Outcome-Driven Journey from IDP to a Suite of AI
Over a billion documents processed. Millions of Veterans impacted. Hundreds of thousands of employee hours saved. Faster decisions. Greater accuracy. More benefits in the hands of our disabled Veterans. We created Smart Search, the worldโ€™s largest consumer of Amazon Textract, right when GenAI began reshaping whatโ€™s possible. Since then, weโ€™ve built a suite of AIโ€‘driven solutions that transform this data into real, measurable outcomesโ€”accelerating benefits decisions for our Nationโ€™s Veterans. Join us for a focused conversation on how an outcomeโ€‘driven approach to AI is helping us boost accuracy, streamline workflows, and deliver faster results for those who have served. This is a follow up to the AWS re:Invent 2023 "Intelligent Document Processing with Gen AI for Public Sector" presentation. About Speaker: Cameron Williams is a Senior Technical Project Manager and cross-functional technical leader at Booz Allen Hamilton with 15+ years of experience architecting and evolving scalable, cloud-native systems, from greenfield development to complex enterprise modernization. https://www.linkedin.com/in/cameronw711/ **THANK YOU** *Franklin University* for hosting our meetup! Extensions allow developers to customize the editor with new features, integrations, and workflow improvements tailored to their needs. In this session, weโ€™ll cover what extensions are and the different types available, including full extensions written in TypeScript or JavaScript, along with lighter-weight extensions such as color themes, language packs, language support, code snippets, and keymaps. Weโ€™ll also look at practical reasons a developer might create an extension, from automating repetitive tasks to adding custom tooling. The session includes a hands-on walkthrough of creating a new extension, testing it locally, and understanding the basic project structure. Weโ€™ll close with a brief overview of how extensions are packaged and published to the Visual Studio Marketplace and other distribution options. **YouTube Link** TBD

We're going to GameArena! We'll be in-person at the GameArena Gateway for our monthly COGG Prototype and Play event. Come to play and showcase your games! We're back in the upper levels of the catwalk area. It'll be packed with lots of camaraderie playing your game(s) and other's games on the 2nd floor. Light snacks and water provided but you can buy food and drinks at the bar (alcoholic drink ID required). [www.game-arena.co](http://www.game-arena.co/) **Attendees:** Don't have a game to show? Not a problem! All are welcomed and invited from all ages and backgrounds. The more we can have to play test our games is all the better! **Developers:** Do you have a game that you would like to get critical feedback on? Would you like an excuse to work on a game with other talented artists, programmers, musicians, designers, and writers? Digital, table-top, non-experienced developers, and the like are welcomed! We'll provide signage for your game to help others learn more about your work. Wifi, outlets, tables, and seats (though standing tables also) are available. Come to the Prototype and Play workshop to collaborate and meet local game developers for an evening of epic and raw game play fun! Play works-in-progress, show off your own game, work with others to add polish to a game, or even lend your talents to other fellow developers. For this event, light snacks from the bar and water will be provided!
