We’ll be working together **to remove invasive and non-indigenous plants** that threaten the native ecosystem. These species spread aggressively and outcompete the plants that local wildlife depends on. This time, we will focus on removing the **Butterfly Bush (Buddleja**). Although it provides nectar for adult butterflies, it is not a host plant for most native caterpillars. When invasive plants replace native vegetation, butterfly diversity declines and disrupt local ecosystems. Before we begin, **Stadt Zug Werkhof** will give a short introduction about the environmental impact of invasive plants and why removing them matters. Welcome cold lovers! We have been practising cold water plunges for over 4 years. We believe in the benefits of cold water exposure. The feeling you get after the swim is magnificent, it makes you feel alive. We have started this group to safely experience the cold water together. We motivate each other, do active warmup exercises, and also share our life stories with a warm coffee/tea afterwards. The event is every Sunday at 11:30, we meet at the Mythenquai Badi entrance no matter the weather. Take along: a large towel, comfortable bathing suit, flip-flops, and warm clothes (hat, gloves, etc). If you’re planning swimming out take along a bright swim buoy. The event is Free. IMPORTANT: Every participant takes responsibility for themselves when attending this event. Before attempting cold water exposure, individuals with health conditions (e.g., heart problems or hypertension) should seek advice from a healthcare professional.
