Blood on the Clocktower aux Caves Alliées (script intermédiaire)

Women’s Circle: Breathwork Journey 29.04
✨🌙 Women’s Circle — Awakening Feminine Power 🌙✨
Join us for an intimate and immersive evening hosted by @thedani designed to reconnect you to your inner world, your intuition, and the power of your feminine energy.
In this sacred circle, we gather to slow down, soften, and return to ourselves ; Dani creates the space to release what feels heavy, reconnect to our truth, and awaken the quiet strength that lives within.
We’ll begin with a guided meditation and visualization to gently regulate the nervous system and set a clear, heart-led intention. From there, you’ll be guided through a transformative breathwork journey, allowing emotions to move, energy to shift, and deeper layers to unfold.
Throughout the experience, Reiki energy will be offered to support your process, helping you feel held, grounded, and open.
Following the journey, we’ll move into a sharing circle - this is a special a moment to be seen, heard, and connected in a safe and supportive space. The evening will close with a gentle integration, allowing you to anchor into your body, your truth, and your feminine essence.
A space to feel, release, soften, and rise...together.
Come as you are. Leave feeling more connected, aligned, and deeply nourished. ✨

Cosy Cave Conversations // 10ème // Café philo in English
**Step into the laid-back charm of Cosy Cave Conversations**, a Parisian philosophy chat that's more relaxed than a cat in a sunbeam 🐈 🌞 Gather with a bunch of easygoing souls, share thoughts on the good life and its mysteries, enjoy a beverage, and have a good laugh.
A few things to be aware of:
* **Please** **don't show up without a spot** (we aim to keep it cosy and we always have a waiting list these days — check if you’re on the list or the waiting list)
* If it's your first event, it's essential you **turn up early, or at the latest on time (<7pm)** so you understand how it works, what the topic is and don't interrupt the session
* The **session runs from 7pm to 8:30pm** where we focus on the discussion, but don't worry, you'll have a chance to socialise, introduce yourselves and continue the chat after the session.
**If you’re running late** (the curtains are closed), that’s okay, but please wait to join us in the break rather than interrupting the session.
* Please read the **tips below** for a good session before coming along
**How does it work?** We embrace the café-philo method — proposing intriguing topics on the night (up to 3), choosing one together, and diving into everything from consciousness, community, death and god, while managing to keep it light and easy 🦦
**Forget the stiff atmosphere**, we're all about small groups (\~10 people) and unpretentious chats with no homework required. No need for a philosophy degree, just bring your open mind and a dash of curiosity.
**Join us every Wednesday 19h-20h30 at Les Acolytes** — because pondering the profound is better with good company (and a pint). See you there! 🎉
A few tips for a great session:
* come with an **open and curious mind** 🧠
* **prioritise listening to others and asking questions** without interrupting or long monologues 👂
* we put a strong **emphasise on giving everyone a chance to contribute to the discussion**, so try and be aware of how much space and time you take up when speaking 🐻❄️
* we prioritise **intellectual accessibility**: this is not an academic group therefore we ask to keep any philosophy jargon to a minimum and instead explain any concepts in plain english 🤠
* we are an **apolitical group** that focuses on discussing and exploring philosophical ideas without endorsing or aligning with any specific political or religous ideologies. Our aim is to encourage open, unbiased dialogue centered on philosophical inquiry within a safe and respectful environment 🐥

May is known by American Indians for the Full Flower Moon because of the wide appearance of flowers during this month. It's also known as Full Corn Planting Moon (for obvious reasons) and as the Milk Moon (for reasons unknown to me, but ones you're invited to research or invent).
**WHAT**: Everyone brings food and drink to share.
**WHERE**: Pont des Arts. We'll gather around the 2nd or 3rd bench from the Left Bank side of the bridge. Nearest metros: Pont Neuf and Louvre-Rivoli.

**BIRTHDAYS**: Bully for you if you’re a Taurus? Bring a cake and let me know so we can celebrate your birthday this month and blow out the world’s largest birthday candle.
**HOW** to find us: Keep your eyes out for a bunch of lunatics eating, drinking an chatting in English and French. Look for a small white telescope, weather permitting.
**DISCUSSION QUESTION**: What did we learn from Artemis II voyage around the moon?
**DISCUSSION ANSWER**: We learned a lot about the moon and its craters on the far side (not the dark side. There is no dark side, just the earth side and the other side. Each side is in sunlight half the time. I think.) We learned that meteors impact the surface of the moon every few minutes, creating impact flashes visible during darkness. There is no atmosphere to burn them up as on Earth. Most of what we learned came from taking photos, 10,000 of them. We learned that the most emotionally striking photo was "Earth-set” from an iPhone rather than from a much more expensive camera. We learned the Artemis II is an impressive spaceship. But possibly the most profound thing we learned was about the other spaceship - Earth I. There is no Earth II (sorry moon). There is no Planet B. We are all on a fragile blue marble hurtling through a big black dark lonely void of space, protected by an atmosphere as thin as the skin of an apple if Earth were shrunk to that size. How amazing that this little blue marble is covered with mountains and rivers and oceans teeming with all manner of life. From space the astronauts saw beautiful patterns of land, water and clouds, but didn’t see any national boundaries, nor feel any bombs nor hear any disputes created by solely by humans who sometimes forget they have everything they need to enjoy an incredibly rich existence with beauty, culture, knowledge and pickleball. Maybe we need to send everybody on a trip into deep space and anybody who still can’t appreciate the miracle of our place in the universe like those astronauts did, well just leave them there.

Choose Your Movie: THE SHEEP DETECTIVES vs HOKUM at Cinemark Stoneridge!
Join us as we get together to see your choice of two VERY different movies – one sweet and wholesome – the other a terrifying folklore horror! Option 1 is the fun whodunnit-action-comedy-mystery led by Hugh Jackman, THE SHEEP DETECTIVES! Option 2 is the top-reviewed supernatural-horror-thriller starring Adam Scott, HOKUM! Here’s a description, trailer and plan for this event:
THE SHEEP DETECTIVES: Every night a shepherd reads aloud a murder mystery, pretending his sheep can understand. When he is found dead, the sheep realize at once that it was a murder and think they know everything about how to go about solving it. The film is directed by Kyle Balda and take a look at this ensemble cast: Hugh Jackman, Nicholas Braun, Molly Gordon, Hong Chau and Emma Thompson and the voices of Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Bryan Cranston, Chris O'Dowd, Regina Hall, Patrick Stewart, Bella Ramsey, Brett Goldstein and Rhys Darby. TRAILER: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pyZI5oM6hWk
HOKUM: In this film, a horror writer visits an Irish inn to scatter his parents' ashes, unaware the property is said to be haunted by a witch. It is written/directed by Damian McCarthy stars Adam Scott, Peter Coonan, David Wilmot, Florence Ordesh and Austin Amelio. Hokum premiered to rave reviews at this year’s SXSW Festival and is being release by Neon. It is earning a stellar 97% positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes, which calls it, “A classic haunted house story enriched with atmospheric folklore and perfectly-timed shocks!” TRAILER: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EVCIK_MPyhc
PLAN: We’ll plan for a 7pm-ish showing of both films and will meet inside the theater lobby about 20 minutes before showtime. If the showtimes work out, we’ll try to get both groups together for a bite before the shows! Complete details and showtime will be confirmed/announced as the date gets closer.
Look forward to seeing you there, Dan
Columbus Comedy Improv Meetup at Gresso's!
Whether you've never done improv before, or you've done it for so long you knew Del Close on a personal level, or anywhere in between, come join us! Swing by *Gresso's* for the **Columbus Improv Comedy Meetup** for some fun and games!
The idea behind improv is to create entire scenes from scratch based on a suggestion from the audience. This can be done in game form, like *Whose Line Is It Anyway*, *ComedySportz*, or *Wild 'n Out*; it could also be done to tell stories, like *Middleditch and Schwartz*. Our meetup, which is central Ohio's longest running (and free!) weekly comedy event, brings the games (and occasionally different forms) for you to play in a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment. Not only is it a lot of fun, but you get to work on thinking faster on your feet, plus it's an excellent way to meet new people and make friendships that'll last a lifetime!
Ask yourself if you want to join the **Columbus Improv Comedy Meetup**, and say "Yes, And" that you'll have fun!
The Mercy of the Gods by James S. A. Corey
Join us for Mercy of the Gods by James S. A. Corey.
How humanity came to the planet called Anjiin is lost in the fog of history, but that history is about to end. The Carryx - part empire, part hive - have waged wars of conquest for centuries, destroying or enslaving species across the galaxy. Now, they are facing a great and deathless enemy. The key to their survival may rest with the humans of Anjiin. Caught up in academic intrigue and affairs of the heart, Dafyd Alkhor is pleased just to be an assistant to a brilliant scientist and his celebrated research team. Then the Carryx ships descend, decimating the human population and taking the best and brightest of Anjiin society away to serve on the Carryx homeworld, and Dafyd is swept along with them. They are dropped in the middle of a struggle they barely understand, set in a competition against the other captive species with extinction as the price of failure.
Only Dafyd and a handful of his companions see past the Darwinian contest to the deeper game that they must play to learning to understand - and manipulate - the Carryx themselves. With a noble but suicidal human rebellion on one hand and strange and murderous enemies on the other, the team pays a terrible price to become the trusted servants of their new rulers. Dafyd Alkhor is a simple man swept up in events that are beyond his control and more vast than his imagination.
He will become the champion of humanity and its betrayer, the most hated man in history and the guardian of his people. This is where his story begins.
Unknown Number: The High School Catfish
A very unusual choice for his group... Unknown Number: High School Catfish is an American [true crime](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/True_crime "True crime") documentary film directed by [Skye Borgman](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skye_Borgman "Skye Borgman") and released to [streaming](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Streaming_media "Streaming media") on [Netflix](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Netflix "Netflix") on August 29, 2025.
The documentary explores the events and investigation into an unknown person [cyberbully](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyberbullying "Cyberbullying") and [harassing](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harassment "Harassment") teenagers in [Beal City, Michigan](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beal_City,_Michigan "Beal City, Michigan") using an unknown number via insults and sexual claims. It also explores the increasingly great impact of the harassment on the community, the eventual reveal of the culprit, and the trial that followed.
IMPORTANT INFO: I strongly suggest not reading anything about it online before seeing it. It's best viewed with no previous knowledge. This documentary contains crude terminology and deals with cyberbullying, which may be a trigger for some folks.
PLEASE NOTE - WE ARE STARTING AT 6:30, WHICH IS THIRTY MINUTES EARLIER THAN USUAL.
Unfortunately, it is only available on Netflix. If you would like to attend but do not have Netflix, say so and maybe we can figure something out.
