**Motiul Islam** is a public speaker and property investor from the East End of London. Passionate about property, he is dedicated to helping aspiring investors start their property journey, build strong networks, and achieve their financial goals.
Motiul began investing in property while studying Economics and Business Information Technology at the University of London. Despite early setbacks, including being gazumped on his first three deals, he secured his first property at the age of 23 and quickly began growing his portfolio.
His strategy focused on structured “no money down” deals, allowing him to expand into areas such as HMOs, title splits, refurbishments, rent-to-rent, and property developments. Jason Patterson, aka the “Short Lease King,” owns a property training company and has mastered the short-lease property investment strategy.
His 25-year property journey includes transforming overlooked short-lease flats into profitable units by extending leases, refurbishing properties, and, in some cases, reconfiguring layouts to add an additional bedroom. He also purchases freeholds on occasions.
Jason’s journey began at Sainsbury’s, stacking bread—but he saw beyond the shelves. Every shift, he saved toward his dream of owning property. That hard work paid off, and he went on to purchase five flats while still working at Sainsbury’s.

Jeremy is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Rightmove. He holds an MSc in Machine Learning, specialising in Deep Reinforcement Learning. Before joining Rightmove, Jeremy was a founding MLE at a California-based, GenAI-first startup, where he helped scale a consumer product to tens of thousands of users. He joined Rightmove as its first MLE to build the platforms and systems that enable teams to develop, deploy, and scale both classical ML and generative AI applications.
**Athina Konstantinou - Data Scientist, Rightmove**
Nana is a Data Scientist at Rightmove. After completing an MSc in Data Science at the University of Bath, she joined Rightmove in 2019 as a Statistical Analyst, supporting estate agents, lenders, surveyors, and investors in understanding the housing market. In 2022, she became the first member of Rightmove’s newly formed AI squads, helping to lay the foundations for the company’s ML and AI capabilities.
