Pub Crawl Berlin-Style
Pub Crawl Berlin-Style
Join us on a slightly differentent pub crawl around Hackney Wick. In typical Berlin style expect to see lots of brilliant unusual pubs/bars, squattered houses, graffity, amazing Pizza and amazing beers (and other drinks). We willl start the afternoon at Hackney Wick station at 3pm and I booked tables in the following bars: Our first stop will be [The Beer Merchant](https://beermerchantstap.com/) at 3pm. The second stop will be [Bar 90](https://share.google/xHyavwkVicN5LnZo0) at 4.30pm. The final stop will be [Crate Brewery](https://www.cratebrewery.com/pages/bookings) at 6.15pm. We may move on earlier but all bars are pretty quirky and offer interesting drinks and snacks. Therefore inviting us to stay longer. The bars are all only a few minutes apart. The event is free but the usual £1.50 group maintenance fee applies. Please note that Meetup now charges an additional 0.60 per event. None of these are refundable. Please only RSVP if you are intending to attend. Late cancellations and no-shows may get you removed from the group. And as always, attending will be at your own risk. We will leave from the meeting point at 3pm. If you do not make it for that time, please find us in the first pub.

SATURDAY nite social & karaoke!
SATURDAY nite social & karaoke!
The Garratt & Gauge is my favourite local karaoke bar…and KARAOKE IS BACK there! Karaoke starts at 8pm (until around 11.30). There's a meetup fee of £2 - payable in cash at the event (which will go towards the meetup subscription fees). More about the pub on the link below: https://www.socialpubandkitchen.co.uk/garratt-and-gauge-wimbledon The Garratt & Gauge is very close to Wimbledon station (which is on the underground district line and Wimbledon is also a mainline station and on the Tramlink). A few buses go to Wimbledon from Tooting Broadway (there's a bus stop very close to the pub). I hope you’ll come along :)

Yep when it comes to socialising - here at the Universe of Hedonic Adventures, either we do it right or we stay at home — so we’re tearing up the boring Jan rulebook. Let's decimate the January blues with fun chats fueled by **£2.50** drinks all night that keep the fun flowing =====🍹 **Cheap** **Drink Deals Till Midnight =====** * **Chardonnay (& Cheese): £2.80** * **Beer: £2.00** * **Selected spirits & mixers: £2.50 (Run, Whisky, Vodka)** Expect a sociable freindly crowd that’s fun and talkative, a vinyl music playlist that knows how to please with feel good singalong songs and a night where the only thing that will be dry is the humour (or potentially the bar!). Sunday Gaming at The Wapping Tavern
Sunday Gaming at The Wapping Tavern
**You will find us in the games area in the lower section of the pub.** Please ensure you read these: [Rules](https://www.londononboard.com/rules-regulations) We don't allow Chess, Scrabble, Monopoly, Roleplaying games, Magic the Gathering, Mafia, Werewolf etc. at LoB as there are other venues or groups for that and we want to make sure that there is enough space for board games. We want everyone that comes to our events to have a good time, and we know that some games require more communication than others. Please be mindful that we are in a small space and that other members will need to explain rules and focus. As a small group of volunteers, we are very dependent on the good will of our venues to host us for free. It is vitally important that everyone attending LoB buys food and drink to ensure that we can build and maintain those relationships with our venues. If you have any feedback about the venue, please report it to us directly rather than speaking to the staff. You must only attend if you have a place, i.e. that you have made it off the waitlist. If you can no longer attend, please mark your RSVP as ‘Not Going’, ideally more than an hour before the event starts. Please be aware that an organiser may ask to see proof of RSVP.

Board games at The Forge
Board games at The Forge
The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~$20 per person. Soft drink refills are $1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes. We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind. Thank you for your continued commitment to providing a fun and welcoming space to veteran, newbie, and rookie gamers in the Columbus area. Parking can be challenging. There is a parking lot behind the neighboring Mexican restaurant that is free and easy to walk from but it's a bit hidden.

Astra Rooftop
Hello everyone! For our first dinner together, we’re keeping things low-key and casual. Take a look at the menu and let us know what you think we want this to be easy, relaxed, and enjoyable for everyone. Quick housekeeping note: many restaurants require most of the party to be present before seating. No-shows impact the entire group, so if someone repeatedly commits and doesn’t show more than once, we’ll have to remove you from future dinners to keep things fair and smooth for everyone. Looking forward to a great night and even better conversations 🍽️✨
Sunday Board Games at Land-Grant Brewing
Sunday Board Games at Land-Grant Brewing
We'll play board games at the [Land-Grant Brewing Company](https://landgrantbrewing.com/). They have multiple [food trucks](https://landgrantbrewing.com/food/) on Sundays. Ray Ray's also has coffee, and the brewery has free water (and Jeni's ice cream). You can come late or leave early. Please just sign up so I know to expect you. **Notes on Parking** * You'll (probably) have to park on the street, but street parking is free on Sundays. * There are [parking garages](https://landgrantbrewing.com/parking/) a little farther away if you want. These are obviously not free, though. * There is a [lot next door](https://www.google.com/maps/place/39%C2%B057'26.0%22N+83%C2%B000'40.9%22W/@39.957211,-83.0119921,19z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m12!1m7!3m6!1s0x88388f3efd89238b:0xc139207386232411!2sLand-Grant+Brewing+Company!8m2!3d39.9577613!4d-83.011426!16s%2Fg%2F1pzt7t9df!3m3!8m2!3d39.957211!4d-83.011347?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI2MDEyMS4wIKXMDSoKLDEwMDc5MjA3MUgBUAM%3D) to the brewery that you're allowed to park in, but it is not free. I've never parked there, so I don't know anything about rates. (I'm told though that if you eat at Milo's Deli next door to this lot that Milo's will stamp your parking so it's free.) * You're going to see odd signs on [Lucas St](https://www.google.com/maps/place/39%C2%B057'26.1%22N+83%C2%B000'40.3%22W/@39.957256,-83.0124134,19z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m10!1m5!3m4!2zMznCsDU3JzI4LjgiTiA4M8KwMDAnNDEuNSJX!8m2!3d39.957993!4d-83.011536!3m3!8m2!3d39.957256!4d-83.011197?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI2MDEyMS4wIKXMDSoKLDEwMDc5MjA3MUgBUAM%3D) (saying it's a "private street") that will lead you to believe you're not allowed to park there, but you actually are. * Columbus parking cops literally do not work on Sundays. This means that, even if you're driving a non-EV, you can park in the EV spots near the brewery. **Games** I do bring many games, but please bring some of your own as well.
