We play any kind of board and card games. Most of them are german or language neutral games. It doesn't matter if you are casual or core player. The main thing is to meet and have fun. Bring your own game or choose one of about 150 games we have on site. You want to play a certain game you don't own, ask Björn (spielfest-berlin@email.de) if he can bring it or ask in the comments. Please RSVP if you like to come. It makes things way easier to organize, if we know how big the boardgame-enjoying-crowd gonna be. On Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., artists from various disciplines will demonstrate in an open studio how anyone can become creative, regardless of talent or experience. During a free painting session, participants can try out different techniques with guidance and give their creativity free rein. There will also be live music, opportunities to create stories together, and time for community. Am Samstag, 11-16 Uhr, zeigen Kunstschaffende verschiedener Kunstformen, in einem Offenen Atelier, wie jeder Mensch kreativ werden kann, unabhängig von Begabung und Erfahrung. Beim freien Malen können unter Anleitung verschiedene Techniken ausprobiert und der Kreativität freier Raum gelassen werden. Außerdem gibt es Livemusik, die Möglichkeit gemeinsam Geschichten zu erfinden und Zeit für Gemeinschaft

A beautiful Kreuzberg Café La Tienda hosts us on regular, weekly basis. The owner is very friendly and plays chess too. The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~20 per person. Soft drink refills are 1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes. We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind. There is additional parking lot behind the neighboring Mexican restaurant that is free and easy to walk from but it's a bit hidden.

Dodgeball is back again! If you’ve been wanting to come out, this is an easy one to join. We’ll be playing for about 1.5 to 2 hours, you do not need to bring any equipment, and no experience is needed. We use a specific set of rules and equipment to make the games run better and keep them fun for everybody, not just people who already know how to play. If it rains, the event will be canceled.
