Friday 13th Creepy Quickie: Cemetery of Fools
Friday 13th Creepy Quickie: Cemetery of Fools
Dear Adventurers, Friday 13th is begging for a visit somewhere creepy. And since it's always nice to incorporate a couple of steep climbs into an innocent city walk, the Bohnice cemetery is an obvious pick. The place has painful history and is shrouded in spooky stories. And for the maximum effect, we'll get there after dark 👻 – It's a city walk, but there will be unpaved parts, so **wear shoes that you don't mind getting dusty/dirty** – The pace will be leisurely, about 4.5 km/h – If you're uncomfortable walking in the dark without a light, bring one 📍 **Trail** 10 km • ↑ 205 m • ↓ 123 m [MAP OF THE TRAIL](https://mapy.com/s/hezucuzofa) **👋 Meeting Point** 17:00 in front of Výstaviště, the fountain closest to the Stromovka park (leftmost if you're facing the Výstaviště grounds and the tram stop is behind you) [☎️](https://emojipedia.org/telephone/) **Contact** +420 732 570 684 (Elena) You join at your own risk. 13/03 - Breathwork Ceremony: MASCULINE
13/03 - Breathwork Ceremony: MASCULINE
Through guided breathing and music, participants are supported in reconnecting with inner steadiness and allowing recent experiences — personal, emotional, or relational — to land in the body with greater clarity and calm. This session emphasizes nervous system regulation, integration, and a felt sense of orientation before moving forward. The practice is gentle, accessible, and does not require previous breathwork experience. The evening includes a short introduction, approximately 50 minutes of guided breathwork, and a sharing circle with tea afterward. Masculine / Shiva / Yang Ground. Direct. Build. This ceremony is an exploration of the masculine current within us — the part that moves forward, sets boundaries, and creates structure. When distorted, it can easily turn into aggression or rigidity. It is often said that we live in a world largely driven by masculine power. Let’s explore together how the masculine shows up in your life and in your body. This journey is about restoring clean strength. Shaking up rigidity. Gaining inner clarity, stability, and direction. Slave Island on Saturday March 14th@18:00 in Kino Světozor
Join us for a movie night at **Kino Světozor** on **Saturday, March 14th.** We’ll meet at around **17:30** ***at the Světozor cafe*** before the film starts at **18:00.** I will be waiting front of the bar, so please look me up (reference my meetup photograph). We'll be watching **[Slave Island](https://www.kinosvetozor.cz/en?projection=46349)**, a movie about "northern Vietnamese electronics factories, where the workforce is predominantly female. Far from their children and husbands, they provide for families who cannot survive through traditional rice farming. The film reflects on their dehumanizing working conditions as well as life in a hierarchical society, where the sustenance of men and the upbringing of children fall solely on their shoulders. In addition to the anonymized testimonies, the film features a unique reconstruction of factory life, performed by actual factory workers." Come enjoy this screening and stay for a drink and a chat about the film afterwards! The film is shown with English subtitles. **NOTE:** Please buy your own tickets in **advance**, else last minute may be sold out (available online: [tickets](https://goout.net/en/tickets/slave-island/iutjb/)). **Kind request:** If you register to attend but later cannot make it, please update your RSVP in time — thank you!

Speak Easy (Storytelling)
Speak Easy (Storytelling)
The topic for March is "Our Bodies, Ourselves" Speak Easy: true stories, told live. The idea is simple: an audience, an open microphone, and great stories. Hilarious, gripping, poignant- it's up to you. Audiences are invited to come to listen or come to tell as folks from all corners of Columbus offer their stories live on stage! Held at Wild Goose Creative's warm, intimate space, this night of tales occurs on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Doors open at 6:30 pm, show starts at 7:00 pm. Please arrive early if you want to tell, as we generally only have room for a limited number of tellers, and the sign-up sheet has a tendency to fill up fast. Formed around the idea that people need stories--they're what hold and draw us together--SpeakEasy celebrates the strangeness and commonness of being human. And in a world of smartphones, Facebook, Twitter, and more . . . it gives people a real, breathing, in-person way to connect. The night is geared for true stories of all kinds, taking the best tales told around kitchen tables, in darkened pubs, on the street corner, and at late-night parties and giving them an audience. Speak Easy is also a great outlet for performers, writers, and artists looking to share their favorite stories and perfect their skills. We strongly encourage tellers to please tell the story rather than read it so we keep within the spirit of good storytelling and stay engaged with the audience. All are welcome. Hang around after the show for a drink and build community!
