ALL-Berlin (agile learning lab Berlin)
Dear Friends,
In 2026 we will continue aiming at meeting again more **onsite in Berlin**, but will still try to also run **online meetups** on a regular basis (to account for all our international members!).
"Aroundhome" will be our host in January 2026! YAY!
Address is: Potsdamer Platz 11, Berlin
I heard the entrance is not that easy to find, but we will find options to guide you to the location.
Our standard-text:
Are you an agile practitioner and learner? A Problem-Solver, Scrum Master, Product Owner, Developer, Agile Coach or an awesome Manager? This is our space to learn together. Bring your challenge, opportunity or problem! Anything you want to share, practice or learn about!
This afternoon will be all about learning through exchanging. We will create a list of topics and form small groups to work together in an open space format.
Options include:
* ask for help with a current situation
* bring and practice a method or technique
* practice coaching, where the coach and the coachee both learn
...this space is safe to fail!
Happy to have you as a part of our awesome community!
Your ALL crew: Alex & Simon

The Judgement of Berlin 2026: Bordeaux and Bordeaux Style wines
Ever heard of the Judgement of Paris 1976 that shocked the wine world to its roots?!
Bordeaux, the epitome of tradition and quality, has 65 AOCs and complicated classification systems. It embodies the best of terroir and wine making savoir faire.
Then came the "triumphant" Nappa Valley Cabs in a blind tasting stunt; the "treacherous" Super Tuscans and the whole world is suddenly making Bordeaux style wines from Washington State to Down Under, embracing the mediocre to the most astonishing.
Is Bordeaux loosing it's edge or is it a victim of its own success?
At our next event, one "traditionalist" team will bring the real McCoy (Bordeaux AOC), the other "modernist" team brings prodigious wannabes (Bordeaux style), and we'll conduct our own Judgement of Berlin 2026!
Last but not least, learn about names like Robert Parker, Michel Roland, Jacques Chirac, Frescobaldi and you'll never taste a Bordeaux the same way again ...
How to Join ?
Very simple do to the following ...
\- sign up to the waiting list \- then your place will be confirmed
\- send your 20€ donation \- then you will be given which team you will be joining
\- you will work with the team lead on the wines to bring
Same rules as always:-
\- 48 hour cancellation
\- Donation of 20€ to be paid when you have a confirmed place
\- the event is a fun get together THEREFORE friendly appropriate team and individual behaviour is a MUST \.\.\.

Shivaratri Meditation (in Berlin)
Free of charge \| Event series 2026 \| MahaYoga Zentrum
**Presentation in English about:**
* „The Astrological Quality of Time for the Month“ & „Specifics of the Special Moment of Shivaratri“: 21:30 – 22:30
* **Meditation for the Moment of Shivaratri:** 22:30 – 00:00
The sages use many methods to remain awake and attentive in every moment. However, the lower mind can obstruct this wakeful and alert state if we are not aware of this instrument – our mind – and its place in our lives. Without this awareness, we allow it to be driven by lower impulses and the (collective) unconscious, leading us away from our true potential.
The time around the new moon favors the stillness of the lower mind, allowing access to a higher state of pure perception. This state enables us to connect our consciousness to the universal mind (Shiva) and uncover the essential truth behind every experience.
As meditating together in a group amplifies the effects, we gather monthly for the „Night of Shiva“ to experience this collective energy.
Beforehand, an experienced astrologer will present the astrological quality of the moment of Shivaratri, including an outlook on the time quality of the upcoming month. Becoming aware of the astrological quality of time helps align our lives with the „Big Picture,“ bringing us closer to harmony with the cosmos and the divine will. It also helps to create an awareness of subtle nuances that can be absorbed and felt during the subsequent meditation.
Afterward, there will be an introduction to the question: „What is Shivaratri, and why is it especially valuable to meditate at this moment?“ We will gain valuable insights from an experienced yoga teacher on the role of Shiva in our personal lives.
We will then meditate together for 1,5 hours. Since this is a long meditation, please wear comfortable clothing. We have cushions and seating available, but chairs are also provided. It’s best to come on an empty stomach. Drinks can be brought into the yoga hall in closed containers.

[face to face] Interview Simulation
Join this **Interview Simulation** session — to sharpen the skills for both interviews **and** architectural pitches.
💡 How it works
The event is split into three parts:
1. **Most common behavioral & HR questions** \- you will receive a printed list of behavioral/HR questions and we brainstorm tips on how to prepare for them
2. **Interview Simulation (10 minute rounds)** – One participant acts as the interviewee and answers a round of behavioral and design-focused questions. Each other participant gets to ask him one interview question.
3. **Feedback Round** – The group provides feedback on communication, structure, and clarity. Constructive criticism is encouraged.
💡You will be asked:
* **Behavioral questions** (“Tell me about yourself”, “Describe a challenge you faced...”)
* **Technical questions** (based on your tech stack)
* **Light design problems** (high-level reasoning, not code)
No need to prepare anything in advance — just bring curiosity and an open mind.
Feel free to bring your CV if you’d like feedback from others, or share a few words if you’re currently job hunting. If so, we will also brainstorm answers to more common questions that you were asked.
Whether you’re preparing for an interview or simply want to grow as a software designer or architect, this session is for you.

staySPRECHEN; deutschENGLISCHE Sprachrunde; pulsepuls;
[https://signal.group/#CjQKIBTrh2sYFm3OGDi4r40tkgKiUyVPfvcwu31zIEsEScSxEhAI7mF8oDKHqZwLobqmW73_](https://signal.group/#CjQKIBTrh2sYFm3OGDi4r40tkgKiUyVPfvcwu31zIEsEScSxEhAI7mF8oDKHqZwLobqmW73_)

**TALK ABSTRACT:**
Coming soon!
Software ate the world, Agents are eating Software Engineering
2026 may be the last year many developers write code by hand. We need coding agents to solve complex problems in production codebases, but vibe coding alone won’t get us there. Vibe coding is all gas, no brakes. It burns up the context window until the agent slips on its own slop. You can go fast at first, but the more you stuff into the context window, the more tangled its outputs get. While the industry is rapidly increasing code generation speed, we still have to understand, review, merge, and maintain what gets shipped.
This talk featuring Michael Geiger will outline how coding agents (Claude Code + Gas Town) work and a framework for orchestrating them to solve complicated problems in complex codebases. It’s about steering the model: doing the research to align intent, planning the approach up front, implementing in parallel steps, and breaking early. Human judgment still matters, but it should be spent on high-leverage decisions: what to build, what to forbid, and “what is quality?”, not cleaning up slop. Attendees will leave with a checklist to identify workflow and environment gaps that hold agents back, so you and your team can ship higher-quality software starting tomorrow.

**Joint Meetup: DevOps Columbus - Azure CBUS - Columbus HashiCorp User Group**
What if learning Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code didn’t feel like a whitepaper… but more like a game?
Join us for a joint DevOps Columbus, Azure CBUS and Columbus HashiCorp User Group meetup where **Mark Tinderholt** \(Principal Architect\, Microsoft Azure \| HashiCorp Ambassador \| “The Azure Terraformer”\) shows how **Minecraft** can be used as a surprisingly powerful way to understand real-world Infrastructure-as-Code concepts.
In this session, Mark will demonstrate how Terraform and Azure can be used to provision, configure, and manage Minecraft servers—while teaching the same patterns you’d use for production cloud infrastructure.
\#\#\# What we’ll cover
* Infrastructure-as-Code fundamentals using **Terraform**
* Provisioning real infrastructure on **Azure**
* Applying **IaC best practices** (immutability, repeatability, versioning)
* How playful environments like Minecraft make complex concepts *click*
* Why learning through experimentation beats click-ops every time
\#\#\# Who should attend
* Developers, platform engineers, and cloud engineers
* Terraform users (new or experienced)
* Anyone curious about Infrastructure-as-Code but tired of boring examples
* Minecraft fans who want to see it used in a totally unexpected way
No prior Minecraft experience required—just curiosity and a willingness to learn infrastructure the fun way.
